What greeting do you use to answer the phone?

Usually, when I'm here at school, I'll answer "Moshi Moshi!" Certainly makes people stop and think for a sec. Wish I could get caller id here...been getting a lot of telemarketers at this number recently.

When I'm at home, however, I just answer "hello."

Depends on my mood...

sometimes i'll pick it up and go "hi.. can i speak to jeff" .... it will confuse 'em..

or... "ahoy-hoy"

or "hello"

or if i'm at work... "Tech Support, Jeff Speaking"

If it's a number I don't recognize, i use the standard, yet cautious, hello.

if I know who it is, i will either say "hey" or "is this the person I'm talking to?"
