What graphics chipset on a <$300 notebook?

I'm going to be buying a low end notebook for work but I'd still like to get the best graphics possible. So what were the best gaming chipsets of yesteryear on Notebook computers?

I'll be buying used on ebay and spending <$300.

Look for one with an Nvidia or ATI IGP in that price range.

Yeah for less than $300 you'll be hard pressed to find anything with a decent standalone card, maybe at best a mobile FX5xxx nVidia chip or an ATI 9xxx chip.

There are a couple Dell Inspiron 8600's on ebay with FX5200 cards within that price-range.
