What going on with my car--2003 Mazda6

I have never had a problem with my car up tell now, but I had to say something about my problem with Mazda6.

The times that I come home people use too ask me--were did you get that car from, because you could not get it in the states, and everyone wanted one. This has got too be the best car that I have own and use, and belive me I have had some.

I have hae this car for about three years or so and I love it even more, but I did not drive it for five month. I thank that was the start of my problem.

Now when I start it cold, it sometime take two time to start. And when I driving sometime, the engine just dyes. Not when I stopped but while the car moving.

I change the battery and the oil after I did not drive it. What else can it be. The car is like I bough it but I changed the exhaust and the radio not that the radio matter.

Is the car shaking when going up a small incline? Then it stalls? Do you check the transmission fluid? I had the same symptoms as you, and I never realized I had a leak of tranny fluid, and I ended up killing it. lol.

I even tried to get rid of the car for free on the fs/ft forum like a couple of days after, lol.

Uh. No. Car run mostly fine except for when I cold start it or when it dyes.

Except maybe not as strong as before but just a little.

Whats up tell now ??

Be nice, he's asking for some help. 😉

Your injectors could be gummed up from sitting that long. Also, how much gas did it have, when it was parked? Have you added some fresh fuel?

Have you checked the air intake for little critters that may of made you car home for the 5 months it sat?
Other then that I may suggest to go with the suggestion of a fuel filter replacement and injector cleaning. Make sure to take it to a reputable place so you go there and ask for it and they do what you asked 😉

You can do the injector cleaning yourself. The only stuff I have ever used and works as it says it should is Dura lube fuel cleaner. I have tried all other products under the sun and I know that one works, can be had at walmart for sure. As for the fuel filter that one you may want to have a shop do, it will be under the car somewhere near the front or back on the frame, or sub frame, and if you break the lines free on that while on your back the fuel will go down your arm into your arm pits where it burns like a mother fuc, SHUT YOUR MOUTH! Just ask where ever you take it to you want your old part, they cannot tell you no, and this way you know the work was done.

And don't let the ass hats here bring you down, you got broken English, no biggie for me 😉
Just some of them have to feel so superior to others showing how big a brain they have when all of god and creation can tell your not A #1 with English, but have to whip out the E-penis anyway to show how much smarter they are. But some ass hats are just born ass holes and cannot help it 🙂

Did you leave gas in there over those 5 months? If so try getting some fresh to try and balance it out. might want to try injector cleaner as well.

Fuel Filters are not hard at all to replace. However, there is something to be said about being prepared. DO NOT use a regular wrench. If the car has any amount of rust it the line surrounding the filters will be very hard to get off. Go to the local auto store and buy a line wrench and find the appropriate fuel filter.

I wouldn't worry about snapping the line. Unless it is really rusted and you don't follow any of the instructions I just told you you should be able to get it off fairly easily.

To clean the fuel injectors as well as the fuel line, I would HIGHLY recommend going to a gas station or some small auto store and buying a can of BG44K. That is hands down the best stuff to put in your fuel to go through and clean the innards (For lack of a better word). It costs about $20 and fills IIRC a 17 Gallon tank. You only need to use it once per year (Or only once if you really don't care). One of the only things I will put in my fuel.

I change the battery and the oil after I did not drive it. What else can it be. The car is like I bough it but I changed the exhaust and the radio not that the radio matter.

Well the battery shouldn't have anything to do with it after the car is running. There is a very very small chance your alternator could have failed, but I don't see how you would get your car running. The oil wouldn't do anything unless there are contaminants in your oil. If it was low on oil your engine would simply seize up.
