What gives?

Ok, I feel like such a noob... Trying to find my max HTT. 205 works, however when I go to 210 its stops at POST with a msg about "running in safe mode, please go to CMOS and reset CPU freq." What gives? If I boot past that and go to windows CPU-Z reads default settings.

Did you lower the LDT multiplier? You need to make it so HTT * LDT <= 1000, otherwise things can get unstable

Ah yes, forgot to mention that. I did indeed set LDT to 2x just to get it out of the way, still get that message.

Then take a look at your memory settings. Unless you have mem that can OC well, you need to run it using a divider less than 1:1 when OC'ing the HTT, otherwise the mem runs at the same speed as the HTT.

Klah; I've read that, and while I would love to follow, I can't. I keep getting long beeps and then the warning on post something like "Warning! Now system is in safe mode. Please re-setting CPU frequency in the CMOS setup." "F1 to continue or Del to enter bios" and even though the bios values are entered it takes none of them, but will boot with F1 at stock values. I have updated to the latest bios, perhaps I need to revert back to an older version.
