What gives you the jeebies?

all this talk of spiders and junk got me thinking? What freaks you out? What gives you the heebie jeebies (sp?)

for me its millipedes. I've bungeed off 200 ft bridges, swam with stingrays, owned a boa constrictor, disected pigs and worms, but a millipede will make me cross the street. Its the only thing I can think of that bothers me. Stems from a childhood thing. I was once surrounded by a herd of millipedes when I was like 5. I went to pick up a ball in the grass and the whole grass was moving with literally hundreds of 6 inch long millipedes. I almost had a heart attack lol

so what type of critter creeps you out? And do you know why or have some childhood memory related to your fear?

I'm afraid of geese - not normal everyday geese, only the really agressive ones. My family went to a Metropark when I was a kid (about 5) and a goose came up and started chomping on my hand because I had some bread crumbs in it. I'm not sure if it hurt, but all that hissing was pretty scary.

It's like...there's no escape. They either touch you...or rub on your leg...or sneeze in your general direction.

I am AFRAID of children...especially when they have that ignorance-is-bliss smile on their face and come running towards you for no reason.

It is...evil. I'd rather see Satan carrying a poster with my picture on it with a caption "looking for him...reward." That's significantly less intimidating for me.

Since I'm in Louisiana right now, I'd have to say mosquitos carrying West Nile. Ticks are pretty bad too. Spiders.

Bugs of any kind really. I thought I was going to die when I had to clean our pool filter out after it had rained. There were all kinds of beetles and other things floating around in there.

Where is Louisiana are you? I must say they've been doing a damn good job spraying for them around here (the truck went by about 30 minutes ago actually). I haven't noticed very many mosquitos this year which is unusual, especially since I live fairly close to a bayou.

lol oh man I used to get pool cleaning duty when I was a kid. There were trees near our pool so after a rain all sorts of creepies were in the pool. I was so glad when my parents finally got one of those skimmer robots.

Someone sent me an email with a video attached. It was some man with a gimp mask on and a bucket of rocks tied onto his balls by a long string. Then some hooker walks into the room and kicks him in the nuts ? twice really hard. Spiders don?t really scare me much, but if I see that lady, I am going to get the heck away from her.

my uncle has a swan on his lake and it is the vilest twisted spawn of hell set loose on humanity. that thing will attack you in a heartbeak. even chase you. it is pretty big. one day my cousin ranover it in his truck and it got caught up in the gears and he drove around town. unfortunatly (since it is the spawn of hell) it survived. although it was messed up it soon regenerated and came back to make humanity suffer.
