I got this contraption that is guaranteed to stop anal seepage. It didn't work, so I am going to take it back.

I got some gift cards to two restaurants I don't really care for (from my mom -- who I told several times in the past that I didn't like these particular places!) When I opened those tonight, I was completely shocked (and unhappy) and it was tough for me to look even remotely happy. FFS, if you're going to spend money on someone, you might as well put it on a gift card for a place you know they will go (like Best Buy, Gamestop, Fry's, etc.) If you don't want to do that, then just keep your money.

I might re-gift them somehow or see what I can get for them through one of those gift card clearinghouses on the web. Anyone have any experience with any of those sites?

Fortunately, my wife and her parents came through with some awesome gifts, including the PS3 I really wanted. :)

loved everything, but taking back some underarmor stuff that is WAY too big. BTW I would never buy that stuff for myself, hate tight spandexy clothing but willing to give it a try if it makes my fatass get our there and workout in the cold.

hooded sweat shirt (wanted a hoodless full zip fleece, not the same thing) and a sweater (no one has seen me wear a swearter in years, why do they keep buying them?)
Given where you live, it would seem to be a waste

My relatives did well so far this year. I've only opened the wife's and the in-law's gifts. I'll open my family's gifts on New Years Eve. I honestly have the fewest things that I don't want of any Christmas that I can remember.

For once, I've actually gotten a few things on my list (Doritos chips, a USB drive, and photo holders). For the USB drive, I asked my mother-in-law to purchase a specific drive for me and that I'd pay her back, but instead of me paying her the $12 I asked for it as a Christmas gift. So, I had to play a strong role in getting the gift I wanted. My wife didn't get me anything on my list, but she got something I like - the entire set of Far Side comics.

All that I will re-gift is a bunch of stocking stuffers (sharpie pens and post-it notes). I'll re-gift them by placing them on my wife's desk (she loves them) and I'll never even mention the re-gifting. My family is another story though. *Crossing my fingers*.

We got season passes for the entire family to Kings Island. Since we live a mile or so away; they will get a lot of use.
A couple big bags of David's sunflower seeds.
Much need running shoes.
Microcenter and Sonic gift cards and ca$h.

Nothing is being returned.

My wife threatened to return any 'expensive' gifts but hasn't said anything further since opening up her Canon T1i and associated peripherals.

I'm returning a few pairs of pants. I got like 6 pairs of pants for Christmas and don't need that many. The money will be going into my DSLR fund though. :)
