Got Borderlands and L4d2 Pre-ordered. I was going to get MW2 on 360 - but I'm not so sure now.

Tried playing CoD5: WaW (360) last night with some friends, but the way they set the match making system, i get dropped from the group every other map. Why? Because I didn't shell out 30 bucks to pick up all the map packs. I couldn't even join certain game types by myself, because it kept sending me to games with maps i don't have. Never had this problem with CoD: MW.

hehe, i'll be buying it but not sure i'll be playing online. As I mentioned, I haven't really been into the online MP lately. if I do play MP, its usually on a LAN with my friend. We find co-op more fun too.

Left 4 Dead 2. No contest.

Can we start referring to Nov/December as "The Great Harvest"? It's the only fucking time of year games get released anymore.

I was gonna get MW2, but not anymore with that whole dedicated server thing.
Will get L4D2 during a 50% off weekend.
Borderlands... don't want a RPG FPS :(

So out of the three, L4D2 will get my money first... although not at launch.

You don't like shooters.

None of the above, I'll take a game coming out at the end of October, Tuesday actually: Torchlight.

I had not even heard of this game. Seems cool, although I'm laughing at the fact that it looks like they ripped off the DiabloIII graphical style. It sounds a lot like Diablo I (which isn't a bad thing in my book). And for just $20. However it does have a major deal killer, no co-op. I understand they didn't want to put in the effort to make a good in depth online mode since they're doing an MMO based on it, but how hard would it have been to put in a 2 player mode?
