What genre of games do you hate?

For me it's flight sims and anything else involving flying around.. Wing Commander, Falcon, MS Flight Sim..

Can't stand them! I have always tried to like them but could never get myself into playing them.

How about everyone else?

Anyway... I don't like first person shooters much. For some reason I like Counter-Strike though. *shrugs*

I thought I would hate DDR as well until a guy I know forced me to play it.

Since then it has jumped near the top of my list as favorite arcade games!

Why do people watch TV shows or movies at all, then? I mean, rather than watching X-Files, I might as well just go around Vancouver talking to people and pretend as though I am solving some mystery. It's not the same thing.

Playing sports is one thing. Watching professional players show beautiful moves, following the hypes, admiring the individual talent and team work, etc are a whole different matter. And during the World Cup or international competitions, you cheer for your country or those countries that you feel affiliated to.

I suppose if you believe aliens are running about then that's a fair comparison. You can't really compare some fictional show with sports.

I just don't get it I guess. Seems to me it's a bunch of overpaid dopes playing with a ball. Playing it myself with friends is fun, but watching others do it isn't. I do watch racing however because that's not something I can go out and do myself.
