Inspired by modeps' thread about the Short Attention Gamer podcast ceasing to be, and also inspired by my recent addiction to gaming podcasts, I wanted to know what you guys were listening to out there.
Since Microsoft released the update for the Zune and integrated podcast support, I've listened to nothing but gaming podcasts over the past 2 weeks. There are already plenty of podcasts to subscribe to in the marketplace, and I know there are probably tons more out there. So instead of subscribing to a bunch and wasting my time listening, I figured everyone could give their recommendations.

So far, I've only listened to some of the major players, but the ones I like are:
- IGN Podcasts - I actually enjoy all 3 of their separate podcasts for the 3 current-gen consoles.
- The "Wii-k In Review" is pretty good for simple, calm chat about current games and events regarding the Wii.
- "Three Red Lights" I've only listened to once thus far, but I had no qualms about it.
- "Podcast Beyond" is the PS3 podcast, and these guys are high-energy, sometimes stupid but often humorous. They talk loud and often, but it's still enjoyable.
- Gamestop's "The Hotspot" - I'm actually enjoying this one pretty well, more than I thought it would. So far they seem to share and talk about gaming news instead of just pure thoughts on current games, which I like. The viewers calls at the end of every show is pretty annoying, because they broadcast the most stupid people who call in. They should broadcast those who talk in a normal voice and ask normal questions, not the crap they do now.
- Major Nelson - I started out listening to a bunch of his one-on-one interviews for the "Live is 5ive" week, and these were awesome interviews, loved them every one. Lots of good insight and info on how Live began and the decision process behind a lot of things about the system. His weekly broadcasts also seem to have a lot of great info, stuff you don't normally read on gaming sites and such.
- Played - Sorry warcrow, but I'm still trying to decide if I like your podcast yet. I've listened to the last 3 episodes, and it hasn't struck me quite yet. I think they are too long for my tastes (I saw your recent post in your forums about trimming it down considerably, which I think is a good idea). It also seems that the girl never talks much (I'd like to hear more from her) and that this Chris guy talks down to you a LOT (which I don't care for).
- EGM Live* - I've only listened to one episode of this, but didn't care for the format. I've decided to listen to a couple more before deciding if I hate it or like it.
- Achievement Junkie - This was one of those that I didn't know anything about, but just wanted to try something different. This was towards the top of the list of most downloaded in the gaming section on Zune, so I tried it out. Didn't care for it at all. I gave it about 20 minutes, and all these two did was talk about crap in their personal lives and nothing about gaming. I promptly unsubscribed. Maybe someone else has had good experience with this?
