What games to get for PS2?

Medal of honor, Virtual fighter 4, Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty , nba 2k2/3, dance dance revolution with carpet, FIFA: wc, Tekken 3/4, Time crisis 2 with guns,


What about ace combat 4?

I have grand theft auto for pc.

Also do you think its good for me trading my athlon xp 2000 chip for a playstation 2 system? i'm going back to my 1.2ghz athlon instead of staying with my 1850mhz o/c xp

in moh, if you fire 1 shot at a friendly, you get reprimanded (game ends)...Also, theres no multiplayer and you cannot control vehicles.

Also, fps were meant to be played with a keyboard =D

Mgs2 basically has a cutsceen every 5 minutes

depends on what you like.. I like PS2.. but the only game i really ever play anymore is GTA3...

if you think you'd get more use out of the computer then keep it.

OR.. maybe comprimise and get a used PS2.. yo ucan probably pick one up for 150 or so.. use the money you save and get something faster than the 1.2 athlon

It depends on what type of games you like. Right now PS2 has some pretty good games out after such a long time, and they will play all the old PSX games too. I like FFX, MGS2, Maximo, GTA3, GT3, and others so I enjoy it.

i heard its pretty short and its pretty fun. its like $40 at best buy but im waiting till a price drop to $35 preferably $30.

Ico -- it's not very well known, but it's good. It was my first PS2 game.

Downside to it is that it's somewhat short (< 10 hours of gameplay) and not much replay value. (Might play it one more time because of a few things...but that's about it)

Yes Ico is a great game!

Also GTA3, GT3, SSX Tricky, Tony Hawk 3, Devil May Cry, Jak & Daxter (if you like platform/adventure).

Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty (trust me, you'll enjoy it better if you play the first one)
Final Fantasy X
Dark Cloud (very fun actually)
Onimusha
GTA3 (but you already have it for PC but PS2 is way better)
ICO (fun puzzle game if you like those)

I only like good games though, so until they come out with another good game, I won't get any more. LOL

Time Crisis 2 (good lucky finding another Guncon2 tho)
Medal of Honor is a cool game, but there isn't much in the way of replay value

Capcom vs. Marvel will be coming to PS2 in November, Tekken 4 will be out late September, Grand Theft Auto Vice City will be out in late October and the latest line of sports games will be out starting late this month.
