madden is great online, I play it all the time.It is alot of fun playing people and not the stupid AI.Basketball is great online also.Nba 2k9 you can play with 9 other people and everyone controls their own individiual person on the team.I think that is cool.

Grid is a fun and challenging racing game.Very good graphics and it has realistic damage so you cant smack a wall doing 100mph and keep going like need for speed.

I honestly had not read much about mgs4 other than gamespot's perfect 10 review- sounds like it wouldn't be for me though considering I know nothing about the previous games

It's still confusing even if you have. It's a pretty intricate plot with many subplots and twists and turns. Personally I think it's still worth a shot. You may not understand the complete backstory but you should still be able to understand what's happening in the game and enjoy it.

Not having played any of the other MGS games should not deter people from trying MGS4, provided they do not have an aversion to long cutscenes. Granted, you will enjoy it more if you are a fan of the series (there's plenty of fan service to be found), but it's still an amazing game.

MGS4 is absolutely playable even if you haven't played the rest in the series. One of my friends is in his 3rd or 4th time through (trying for no kills/no alerts), and he hasn't played the series since Metal Gear.

(notice I didn't say "solid" at the end)

Folklore is a pretty fun action RPG type game. I believe its by a European developer, no jRPG cliches, but the story is mostly confusing rubbish anyway.. The gameplay and visuals are both excellent though.

Folklore is Japanese.

Is ninja gaiden sigma as hard as Ninja Gaiden Black?

the difficulty that i hear about is what keeps me from getting Ninja Gaiden.

I have never played Black, but I've been making my way through Sigma without too much trouble. There is an easy mode (Ninja Dog), but that was also available in Black from what I understand.

Whoa, looks like you're right.. I stand corrected, but I also stand by the other stuff I said. :)
