What games for the 360 are you waiting for?

I can only think of one game that I am waiting for and that is Ghostbusters. Hopefully it will be good.

What games are others eager to get their hands on?

The original title did take me a couple of seconds to decode 🙂

Prototype might be good.

Batman: Arkham Asylum
Ghostbusters
Forza Motorsport 3
Aliens: Colonial Marines
Final Fantasy XIII
Split Second

Aliens: Colonial Marines

Wow, I never knew something for the Alien franchise was in the works. Off to Google!

Forgot about the new Forza. Time to sell Forza 2 I guess.

Heh...even though I have both systems and vastly prefer the 360, there is no way that I would even consider getting FF 13 for the 360. 7 discs FTL! I can't even imagine the insane compression that will take place in order to make it fit on less than a dozen discs...and that compression doesn't get uncompressed automatically...that takes CPU time, thus resulting in less time to actually run the game.

I wonder if the 360 will allow you to install FF 13 to the hard drive...does it support multi-disc installs? It would probably take like 50 GB of HDD space, and considering the 20 GB drive only has 13 GB available, that would mean the 60 GB doesn't have nearly 60 available, so unless you have a 120 GB drive, you're out of luck!

Anyway, I digress. I'm looking forward to Mass Effect 2 and Batman: Arkham Asylum. Though, if ME2 is released on the PC at the same time, I would tend to lean towards the PC version. Also, with the silly "exclusive DLC" thing going on with Batman, I'd probably get that for the PS3 (though I'd rather get it for the 360).

Alpha Protocol
Final Fantasy XIII (although this might be a PS3 purchase for me)
Mass Effect 2
Crackdown 2
Forza 3
Tekken 6
Bioshock 2
Dead Rising 2
Magna Carta 2
Split/Second

What's sad is that they're almost all sequels.

Mass Effect 2
Forza Motorsport 3
Tekken 6 (bought an XFPS the other day just for this...)
Bioshock 2
Crackdown 2

You only have to install one disc a time. I installed all three disc of blue dragon. You still have to put in disc 1 to play disc 1, disc 2 to play disc 2.....

There were some unsubstantiated rumors that this might be changing for FF13. It's definitely going to stay the way you described for older games.
