What games do you want to see benchmarked on a laptop?

Hey guys,
We're revamping our laptop review gaming test suite and wanted to get your thoughts. We want to keep the number of gaming tests to 2 on a laptop review, along with the 3DMarks of course. What 2 do you want to see?

Right now our thoughts are for COD2 & FEAR. They are the most graphically challenging games available pretty much, and should give a good indication of how a laptop will perform in other games.

Q4 was on the list, but since it is very similar to Doom 3 and that engine is older than FEAR or COD's engine, we opted it out.

HL2: Lost Coast was also on the list, but pretty much if you can run COD2 or FEAR well then you can run HL2 & HL2:LC well. Also it saves us a lot of time from not having to install HL2 and all the Steam updates.

Thoughts?

Far Cry isn't a bad idea, still a very challenging graphics engine. It is pretty outdated though and has been benchmarked all to hell. Will keep it in mind tho ;)

And Deus Ex 2 is REALLY old, and not very popular overall from my knowledge. However if there is demand let it be shown :)

AOE3 possibly but COD2 and FEAR are probably the best things around for stressing a system

Far Cry may be old but the graphics are much better than those of Doom 3, Quake 4, and Half-Life 2. Deus Ex 2 is the only other modern game that I own so that's why it's in second place for me.

Haha, I gotcha.

I agree about Far Cry, just hard to pick it due to the game's age; nothing against the engine ;)

And dug I swear you are obsessed with Far Cry!! :p

Update: It turns out the benchmarking utility I thought I found for COD1 was indeed for COD2. Custom-made timedemos will not run reliably on different machines. So it looks like COD2 is down the toilet, and will be replaced by HL2:LC. So right now its looking like HL2:LC & FEAR :)

#1 Quake 4 - It covers OpenGL & FPS

#2 Other - WoW, AOEIII or other non-FPS game.

fear is a bad game. I'd take BF2 for DX performance and Quake4 for OGL performance.
