It's a game in huge worlds with several thousand people playing and interacting.

Examples: Everquest, Asheron's Call 1/2, Dark Age of Camelot, Utima Online, etc..

I see, like the new Sims online.

Is Sims Online supposed to be an RPG...??
Somehow I can't imagine the Sims being turned into an RPG.... bizarre.

According to my kid(I don't play it) you have to build skills earn money so you can advance in life.If that kind of stuff isn't part of rollplaying I don't know what is.

I've watched him play the game and I was bored to death!!!

I didn't see this post earlier, but I have tried it. It has many performance and gameplay issues and desparately needs a patch. If you want to see what more people think, you might want to look at the CFS3 forum at simhq.com. There is a thread in that forum with over 100 replies petitioning for a patch, as well as all the latest performance tweaks. The exterior aircraft models and clouds look excellent, but the AI is stupid and the terrain is ugly. The game has potential, but you should probably wait until the price drops and a patch comes out(if ever). IL-2 is much better.

It definitely needs a patch. I got it about a week ago. I had MOHAA Spearhead installed previously, and when I load CFS3, i get the Spearhead splashscreen. The game has potential though, but needs a patch.
