What would be a good game for me? I haven't played anything since DoomII. Tell me your favorites & why please. Thanks

Call of Duty
Far Cry
Syberia II
Battlefield Vietnam
Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow (just checked it out last night, great game)

call of duty is a great game. Good graphics, FUN missions (well, except maybe Pavlov's house), a good feel to the weapons.

well first you need to overclock your video card as it is weaker then a 9200. So overclock the Ram as high as it will go then add a little to the core also. Then try some games. 🙂

Overclocking is risky for beginners, so I don't recommend overclocking if you can play these games on low settings.
Call of Duty is a great WW2 game, it's a first person shooter, with great missions and sound effects, plus the multiplayer mode is irresistable.

FarCry and Battlefield Vietnam might not work good on your system, so I don't recommend them for you, but you can get Battlefield 1942 and its expansions, this game is a multiplayer madness!

pavlov's house took me like 2 days to beat on super hard mode.

last game is doom 2? if you are serious there are tons of clsssics that you should play. half life and deus ex comes to mind. both good FPS with excellent story
