If you dont want FPS, how about GTA3??? BF1942 is kinda a first-person shooter game, but it's loads of fun playing online... you might wanna look into that as well...

Then again there's your usual Warcraft III....

There's always the RTS, Warcraft 3 is good. There is also an expansion to Empire Earth out now.

If you liked Myst or Riven myst III would be a good choice. Real myst was fun, but their just not my favorite type of game.

No One Lives Forever 2 just came out, I picked it up today.

EDIT, nevermind, you said you didn't want an FPS.

Go for Mafia

half-life platinum ($20-30)

Beat single player, then play and master tfc, dod, and cs...that alone will take 2 years of your life :)

Earth and Beyond or Dark Age of Camelot

so far i'm still hooked on DAoC, but Earth and Beyond looks so damn good. I'll probably wait a bit. There is another game coming out, Homeworld 2, if you are familiar with the first one, you'll know that this is going to be one hell of a release. (not sure when though, just saw a review on the latest PC Gamer mag)

btw those two games are MMORPG except of homeworld2

danny~!
