What FTP client do you use?

FlashFXP is nice but doesn't integrate with IE
WS_FTP Pro integrates fine; I love it when it automatically intercepts FTP links and opens up 🙂

it doesn't travel through port 21, so technically it's not FTP. 😛

If it isn't FTP, then why the HELL are the letters FTP right in the acronym.

Just because the traffic travels through a port other than 21, that doesn't exempt it from being FTP. A LOT of FTP servers aren't run on the default port.

what IcemanJer means is that it tunnells through SSH, not that it just uses some other port.

Personally I use SmartFTP, but I also use the command line FTP quite often.

chill out, d00d, my original comment was supposed to be tongue-in-cheek, to emphasize on the fact that I use, quote-unquote, secure connections.

Thank you, Yomicron. 🙂

Sorry man.. It was a long day today. 😀 heheheh..

Novell NetDrive... It's free and does webdav too. Let me know if you want a copy. It will actually map an ftp site with a drive letter on your local box. 😉 Windows 95/98/NT/2000/XP.

SmartFTP for windows stuff, and winSCP for transferring files from a windows box to any linux boxes I have (runs via ssh and isn't really ftp).

For linux I use gftp.
