Hey guys,

Not looking to be Ahab the Cyber Pirate here..I just need to record about five lessons that are streamed from a church in another state so I can watch/listen to them according to my free time. It's a long story, but I basically have missed the first five lessons from a really good pastor, and I need to just record them and burn that to a CD so I can listen while I drive.

All help is appreciated, and thanks to anyone that can help.

So...in a nutshell...what applications are best at recording streaming audio and video?, and does that same app convert the audio to AIFF or MP3 files?

Also, is there a website devoted to this kinda thing? I'm sure I'll have more questions once I try to make this work. :) (this is not my comfort zone believe me...heh...I'm much more an artsy guy than Techno Master Digi-Genius :) )

Thanks again, and hope to read some good answers soon,

Could somebody explain that Hi-Net recorder a little more? I didn't read all of it but it seems a little like what I'm looking for a little Kazaa thrown in? It records what...the file to THEIR servers so I can play it again from them? And whatever else in on their servers I have access to as well?

If anyone else is using this and can help me out I'd really appreciate it.

If there are other, more simple apps to use..well, I'd really love to learn of those too.

Thanks sincerely,

GS

You give it the location of the streaming file and it downloads it to your hard drive.
