Hard is honestly better at tech discussions. OCForums too. The way H users tear apart Dell 2407s and 2408s and return them like no other is amazing. I would've never learned to be so picky with my displays without following the threads there

XtremeSystems when you want seriously indepth knowledge but more about OCing and modding.

But off topic stuff? OffTopic.com is still nice...

But to answer the question, TFNN is a site that was created as a place where folks could neff to their hearts content. It wound up being a parking spot for those banned or discontent with AT. Now that most of those bailed it's a small place that is pretty looney. If you are sensitive about anything, you wouldn't want to go there, because you'll have your button pushed. It's completely politically incorrect. Blacks, gays, women, Martians, wolverines, whatever will eventually be insulted. We have blacks and gays and women though, because no one really cares enough to hate anyone. Martians and wolverines? I don't think so.

Inclusion isn't automatic as we have a long line of spammers trying to get in. Eventually Wallydraigle or someone eventually cares enough to see if it's real or not. Then maybe he'll get around to letting you in.

It's kind of a lazy place 😛

Anyone ever heard of Tweble.com? I'm a long time lurker here but I felt like I needed to let you guys know about a site that is tracking LOTS of forums ... and I believe they are tracking us also..

I find it pretty cool, especially since they seem to be trying to attract new users to forums. Forums have really taken a hit lately!

I have another, more active board, I post on too. But really, all message boards seem to hit this stride after awhile. They start up, and only a very few catch on. they peak, they plateau, and then they start sliding downhill. Inevitable they become a shell of what they were.

The board I'm on now just started a year ago and is still in the growth stage.
