My e-mails go out as Calibri and my professional work is filed in Georgia. Georgia is a more sophisticated form of Times and I'm in a habit of writing with it.

Arial is ugly and awkward and Calibri is a great improvement.

In situations where I'm typing and need a very small font, I choose MS Reference Sans Serif. It looks great at 8 point.

TNR for printed documents
any defaulted sans-serif font for computer text

I can't read courier new without thinking of grading papers for freshman comp classes where they'd think they were sly using CN and increased margins to hit the page requirement.

Times New Roman in general, Adobe Garamond specifically for print.

I don't mind Calibri, and Arial is fine, but for professional and personal use I prefer TNR and Garamond.

I use other fonts only for projects.

I always use Times New Roman for papers and stuff. It feels more professional.
Actually, I had the idea a couple of weeks ago that sometimes Courier really works. I saw post-movie credits in Courier and thought it really worked.

Some times I like to use Cambria, but mostly Times New Roman. I don't really care to use Calibri.

TNR. Still in college, and the teachers usually say they want TNR 12.

Pretty much the standard teachers and professors have given me from middle school to college, though some would accept Arial, as well. Calibri seems to be gaining popularity, probably in part because it's the default option in Office 2007.
