What flashlight do you use for backpacking?

Kindof looking for a jack of all trades, I'd like something not huge, but also something that can pack some powerful light punch. Prefer LED due to battery life.

Reccomend something.

I've lookd at the mag light LED conversion kids, and the gerber 1.0 and 3.0's but those are pretty heavy.

I use Maglites for everything. Reliable, bright, and can smash a brick wall down.

I use a 2 million candlepower spotlight.

Backpacking? IMO you'd want something light, good on batteries, weather resistant, and easy to navigate by. This means headlamps.

not a fan of headlamps...I also use the flashlight for regular ole camping too - so not just backpacking. dual purpose plus i can't stand wearing headlamps.

I got a surefire M2 and a Mag w/upgraded LED bulb.
