Corporate network took a dump again. lmao. This is getting so bad.

Didn't lose as much stuff this time though... at least all the stuff that's a pita to login to seems to have stayed up but we did lose the phones lol.
 
I’m upgrading my company phone. My company manages the phone and takes control of activation and pushes settings and software. It’s not too bad for the user; click here then there type instructions. Except, except in the middle of the initialization step, I set the iPhone down on the desk next to my personal iPhone and they started talking to each other and decided to override the initialization in progress and attempt to migrate my personal data to the company phone. I managed to stop that action but it screwed up the company’s process and I’ve been spending quality time with the help desk. It ain’t over yet.
 
People whose brains aren’t capable of thinking geographically are so hard to deal with. A would be client was trying to describe where his project was and he didn’t know east from west and was having difficulty with the concept of cardinal directions. He even reversed left and right when describing a map. For me, every thing and event is tied to place and those places fit on my mental map. I’ve learned that others’ brains don’t work this way and it’s because they are dumb.

And worst of all my wish lists are gone. Lots of little things I hade set aside for later.
Past orders are all there and I can add to the cart.
 
When to Costco to get gas and food... plus toilet paper because i keep forgetting to get it... three times now.

Got gas, $2.57 a gallon woot woot!
Got food!

When i was a street from home I realized I forgot to pickup TP.. again...

Got into my office and settled in. Realized I forgot my water jug in my truck. Have to walk a block away up 3 floors of the parking garage in order to stay hydrated today...

There's no potable water inside? Pretty sure that's an OSHA violation.

I had a junky giveaway speaker that was meant to be used with a ell phone. The phone's speaker were just as loud and clear, and only had a touch less bass, so it was pointless. It had been sitting around a long time, and I opened it up to find a very exciting pillow inside, so it was trash. It had a silicone band that went around the outside, and I left it on my desk for awhile thinking it might be useful for something. After a couple weeks I decided it was stupid leaving random junk around "just in case", so I threw it out last week. I just thought of something I could use that material with :^S

Every time I try to temper my packrat hording instincts, I get kicked by the gods...

We have water here. We actually have a few of those filtration stations like in the airports. But I don't have a bottle and it'd be weird asking coworkers to borrow one of their cups for the day. I went back out and grabbed my bottle a few minutes ago.
 
$1600 repair required for my Impala for a radiator leak today. Replacing the radiator and might as well have them do the water pump too since it has 140k miles on it. womp womp.
 
Just got suspended from Reddit for 3 days with zero explanation. I don't know what is with Reddit and doing that, you can get banned from subs or the whole site and they don't even tell you why.
 
Last 3 day ban from Reddit for me was suggesting hanging someone from a yardarm. I just thought it was a method of discipline, not a method of execution while at sea. Then I looked it up and realized it was literally hanging them from their neck via a yardarm. Whoops

Probably didn't help I was drinking beer when I posted that.
 
Someone was asking for suggestions on self defense and suggested a few ideas, thinking that's what did it as the post got removed. Guessing it's automated, probably looks for keywords or something.
 
Cracked open my Covid era box of 80 rolls of TP. The stuff does not rip on the perfs. How can the perfs be stronger than the center of the sheet?
 
I hate when TP does that, it seems to be strongest at the edges too and rip a whole section. Then there's the single ply at the office, that stuff is so delicate it's like trying to wipe your butt with rose petals.

Back in September 2025 i got my home insurance renewal quote with increase of $210. It was good comparing to $500+ i saw with my neighbors, and Farmers have been good to us all these years.

Fast forward yesterday i got the renewal quote and this time it has gone up by.. $679!

Holy Moly! and my auto quote for renewal also jumped from $819 (6 months) to $1231 (6 months)!

Checked and no claims or accidents filed.. errr dang it.

Looking around now for new insurances.. Allstate has the cheapest now, follow by Progressive and Geico. Hartford is even more than what i got quoted from Farmers!
