I've never seen that. I haven't bought regular table salt in decades though. I always get some kind of sea/rock salt and grind it myself. Regular 'mortons' salt tastes weird to me. Dunno if it's the grain size, the source, the iodine, or what, but it has a sharp almost bitter taste.

That seems a little sketchy. I'm sure it's fine in the expected concentrations, but maybe something else would be better? Maybe sodium silicoaluminate? :^D

I use pink salt, don't think it uses any anti caking because it always ends up getting hard lol. I'm curious now though, I'll have to check when I get home.

Edit: Just checked, no ingredients at all except for "salt".

I don't think I've ever noticed the pink salt caking, it's usually a lot more course though. Haven't used fine ground white salt in a while. Random factoid, even though the original Morton salt place is now a music venue (the Salt Shed), last time I went by there it still had to Morton logo on the roof.

There is no place for table salt. Either kosher or sea salt for cooking, fresh ground himalayan as a finishing or table salt.

I have been using cloth pads for a decade, where before that I did use hybrid and hard pads at times. I figured I was getting older and needed some more control. But in my ADD and neverending quest to find the best mouse and feel for fast paced FPS at 50, I decided to try the Logi G440 hard pad last week. Man, what a fucking pleasure. I lowered my dpi from 1K to 800 and it's perfect at the same in-game sens. I now have a glass mousepad scheduled to be delivered tomorrow. I don't like the slight gritty feel with the hard pad and want perfect smoothness. Micro adjustments are so much easier though. Such a better experience.

As I look back upon my life in middle age, and my knee hurts, and I'm in physical therapy for that, plus my graying hairs, much stricter diet to stay slimmer, and lower stamina, and all those sort of things plus some regrets of life choices, I can still compete on the top of the leaderboards in most matches - even in twitchy small map TDM modes. While those 16 yr olds from korea with cheetah like reflexes are on another level, I can compete with most others and also with tactics and guile. This battledad can still fuck the kids up.

Why oh why did I not try hard pads and glass pads years back?

UPS can't tell me how to get my package because I need to call the shipper and ask them which access point they had it held at rather than just having it delivered to me. How is a logistics company this bad at this process?

Edit: Now they won't tell either of us where the package is. They tell the shipper they will only tell me and they tell me that they will only tell the shipper.

I found glass too slippery. My favorite pads are still old school fabric covered neoprene. Perfect amount of slip and grip.

I definitely appreciate a good cloth pad and have been using fast cloth pads for a while.

I thought going back to hard pads would be foolish at my age, but after trying a hard pad for a week, it was so much fun in game. That made me want to try glass - super easy to clean, and the most consistent of all pad materials. While my body falls apart in other ways in mid-life, apparently I still have excellent reflexes lol If I'm in the zone and focused, I can still run a TDM lobby in Battlefield.

I just found out instantly how important the skates or dots are. It didn't feel good with my A7X Ultra which is still with stock skates, so I tried my Maya X and TenZ mice which both have different third party skates, and the difference was MASSIVE. Might have been the skates you had on. If you still have that glass pad around may be fun to give it a shot with other skates/.dots.

I did not think the difference would be this great. Holy fuck this feels truly amazing now. Got some dots of the same brand and model coming tomorrow for the A7X Ultra.
