What first world problem did you have today?

yea like boomer said, it doesn't get that cold here. In my 20+ years here in the valley I can't recall seeing it snow. But the wife and daughter are always cold, so the heater is always running.

Do you have like electric heat or something.

There's a whole network of trails that I always forget actually exists, and is not that far from where I live, but they're going to build a whole new subdivision there so think those trails will be lost. We can use more housing here, so can't complain about development but it does kind of suck to see some nature areas possibly be gone. It's possible they preserve some of it though, depends how they go about building. Lot of residential areas have a small buffer in the back yards where there are trails.

Ran to the 76 station about a 10 min walk from here and grabbed a bag of Chex Mix. Opened the bag and grabbed a handful and popped some in my mouth. Stale! Checked the date, sell by 11/15/25. Ughhhh. I'm hungry but don't want to go to lunch this early!

The power bumps have been happening at the office all day and every time it happens my coworker is out of commission for like half an hour. Had to hold in a poop until he finally came back online.

haha I suppose I can bring one in. I was thinking about getting a mini-fridge and putting it under my desk as well. Maybe over MLK day I'll come in start sprucing up my office a bit. It's pretty bare but I'm not a collectibles kind of guy so I just have a few pics of my family and that's it. Might have to find some posters or maps or something.

On another note, FWP today: I like taking my lunches later in the day, usually around 1pm so the afternoon feels like it goes by a bit faster. But my boss scheduled a 1pm meeting so I have to go to lunch at noon instead. It will be a long afternoon I fear.

Costco didn't have any organic drumsticks left in stock today after what was apparently a very busy weekend. But they did have the organic chicken wing parts at least. So not too bad.
