I have to return a drum head to Amazon, doesn't fit my Tama 16" drum hoop. I'm trying to get a better sound out of my floor tom, and tried this kind of simulated calf skin alternative.

I was working Christmas shift once and decided to order Chinese food. Fortune cookie said "you are the most dependable person in the company". Probably because I'm the only sucker working here right now.

The Christmas shift used to be so busy too because of the snow storms, but we've dodged that in the past few years. They "upgraded" lot of our alarm systems and half of them don't work so shit is still down we just don't know about it and nobody seems to care.

I noticed my fridge is leaking what I assume is condensate water when I left for my night shift today, didn't have time to really look at it but I hope it's nothing too serious and that it won't leak too much more than what it already did. I'm off tomorrow but it's Christmas eve then Christmas, then Boxing Day, so won't exactly have any chance to look at it during that time either.

I woke up at 5:30am, checked my phone and saw a data processing job failed overnight for work. Had to start work then. Least I was able to knock off early.

Might be a plugged drain where the water goes to... wherever the hell it goes. An evaporator I guess. Mine got crud in it once, and dripped water on the floor.

That's what I'm thinking, either that or maybe the fact that it's been cold in the house, whatever makes it evaporate is not working as it should. I don't bother heating much past 12 degrees if I'm not home and I usually don't make a fire if I'm on night shift either, since I go to bed then just need heat for like an hour to warm up the house to shower then I'm out the door again.

Will see if it clears up on it's own when I keep the house warmer if not I'll have to try to pull it out and start exploring.

After several years, I subscribed to Netflix today to watch the two NFL games. During BOTH games, I had to pause the game (once to run down and pick up a used miter saw, once to have lunch), and during BOTH games, while I was watching after being paused, the game stopped and "This content is no longer available." popped up on the screen.
I got into a chat with Netflix customer support. Apparently it was a common problem...lots of complaints about it. They cancelled my subscription and refunded my money.

Aldi had their jul treats at cutrate prices, and the shelves were almost stripped bare. The problem? They weren't completely stripped, and I got a bunch of sugary stuff I really shouldn't be buying. At least I didn't pay much for my upcoming new fat layer...
