<Sigh> Either Amazon hates me...or I'm such a good customer they just want to give me stuff...
About a month ago, I ordered a pair of shoes from Amazon. Just a bit too small, so I got into a chat with one of their reps. They said they'd send a return label...instead, they sent a QR code. The local shipping place will take packages with a printed label, but NOT a QR code. So, I got back into chat with Amazon...they told me they can't provide a printable label, only the QR code.

BUT, since I'm such a "valued customer," they would ship me the next size bigger shoes, and I can keep the first pair, give them away, donate them, whatever. :sigh: So, they send me a new pair of shoes...exactly the same fckn size as the first pair.. Once again...into chat with them., "Oh my, let me send you a QR code to return the shoes.
After objecting...again, they tell me...again. Keep the shoes, donate them, give them away...whatever....and they would issue a full refund.
The closest place that takes the QR codes is about 25 miles away, 45 minute drive each way...so I don't go there too regularly. As it happens, I had to go there last week, so I contacted Amazon AGAIN to see about a QR code for the second pair of shoes. Might as well drop off both pairs...nope. Only one QR code per order. "Can I return 2 separate orders with one QR code?" Nope.
Anyway, I went ahead and dropped off one pair of shoes.. The refund had finally cleared, so before ordering a different pair of shoes, I contacted Amazon BEFORE placing the order. "Oh yes, we can definitely provide you with a printable label if you need to return those. I assure you of this, do not worry." So, I ordered a different pair of shoes in my normal size. Those arrived today...again, too fckn small. All my regular shoes in this size fit me just fine, so I know it's not that my feet have magically grown longer. :x
Back into chat with Amazon..."Oh, I'm so sorry to hear this. I can send you a QR code for return shipping." :x
Spent about 30 minutes in chat...AGAIN with one of their reps. Once I explained the shipping hassle, "I can take care of this for you, trust me." They're supposed to refund me 100% of the purchase price, plus I keep these shoes.
How the fuck do they make any money letting people keep $100+ shoes without paying for them?
(And I'm still looking for shoes that fit my Flintstone Feet...plus have two pairs of "free shoes" that don't fit.)
