Got more candybars from Lidl to give out on halloween, and they went up 30¢(now $1.79) from the last time I was there. Also, I got some crushed red pepper that was supposed to be discounted, and the clerk didn't discount it.

That's the third time I've been to Lidl. They're very similar to aldi, but I think they're a smidge worse. A little lower quality on goods, and a little higher priced. I'd stop in on occasion as an adjunct to aldi and groceryoutlet, but it's out of the way. They have some stuff I like, but it isn't worth the trip every week. Maybe every once in awhile.

My workplace changed the time entry system.. AGAIN, and this time it's even worse than the last one. I have no idea what I'm doing in it and anything I try to do never actually saves. You need to edit one day at a time and it's very tedious since the grid is not big enough so you have to manually expand each column to see what's in it and you need to be DEAD ON with the mouse to be able to expand it, and then you have to do it all over again for the next day. What a shit show. It's going to take several hours to enter the whole schedule because of how shitty the workflow is.

If you cannot enter hours, you don't need to be paid.

I suppose writing a macro isn't an option.

Relative to Screen

This option instructs the macro to move the mouse cursor relative to its position on the computer screen. Use the "Screen Coordinates" numbers from the Mouse Locator with this option.

Relative to Window

This option instructs the macro to move the mouse cursor relative to its position within the window that is active. Use the "Active Window" numbers from the Mouse Locator with this option.

Relative to Last Position

This option instructs the macro to move the mouse cursor relative to the last position of the cursor. In this case do not input new coordinates, just the number of pixels for the mouse to move.

I'm currently hooked on Radial menus:

Latest Windows download: (Mac & Linux versions also available!)

Can be hooked into AutoHotKey for stuff like mouse locationing:

And clicking:

No this is like a web based app that uses tons of javascript it would be hard to try to reverse engineer. Do all that work then they end up changing it again in a few years. So it's not worth the trouble. Coordinate based macros would not really work either as the browser window would need to be in the EXACT same location each time.

Apparently there's training documents coming, so I will just wait until that comes out, maybe there's a way to make the interface better that I just don't know about. I entered my time in SAP as that part is still the same, and it seems like it inputted the hours in the new one too, but still need to put all the codes and that part doesn't seem to work well.

It would be nice if they just scrapped that part entirely and just used SAP, it's dumb having to enter our time in 2 different systems. You know this new one is bad, when SAP is the one that's the most intuitive.

Wow I had no idea Lidl was in the U.S. Would love to see them expand to the Midwest. I shop at Aldi all the time.

Ever use any of these?

10 x 12V DC Male Power Connector Adapter Plug Jack Socket For CCTV ...

I've used a bunch of them in all sorts of situatuns. Never had a problem with either this end or the mate.

Hook one up today, plugged it in .... zzzzzttt, smoke, hot quick.

Unplugged it, disconnected the device, plugged it back in alone, nothing wired to it .... zzzzzt, smoke, hot quick.

Put a meter on it ... dead short internally somewhere.

In the trash it went.

No. I save pretty much every wallwart I've ever gotten. When one has the size I need, I cut it off and attach it to the cord I want to use.

The kid is studying in VA, so naturally he had requested for his early voting ballot mailed to him and put in his VA address.

All good right!? Well yesterday it has arrived.. at our Texas home address.

After spending an hour on the phone, they told him they won't be able to mail another ballot to him in VA. So its down to me to mail it to him via USPS tomorrow.

It's not something that happened today, it's been happening for like a year. I even sent a message some half a year ago to support and they replied "thank you, I will fwd to devs".

I use a web browser to login to my ISP website to view the bill, check usage etc. It doesn't seem to matter which browser, I've tried Firefox and Chrome, clear cache and what-not.
So I sign in and about 3 seconds after the page has loaded I will be interrupted with a pop-up that tells me "There are updates available, please click Accept or refresh page". Everything is grayed out and the only thing I can do is click Accept or refresh the page myself, either works. Then the page will be reloaded and I can continue as usual. Once again, this is not an app, it's a web-page accessed via browser.
Why can't the web server give the "updated" version right away? Well, I'm sure devs have their reasons...

I knew Lidl was in US, I just wish we had them in Canada.
Not sure about US, but in Europe they carry a brand of chocolates I love (MrChoc with latte macchiato flavour), I always pack a bunch when I go there, 2 months ago I came back with 13 packages, and each is 200g.

Was on a short mid-week local vacation. Fell out of bed at 2am while having some kind of physical struggle type dream.

I landed with the back-top of my head first, on an unforgiving floor (concrete with office carpet, no pad). Yelling the instant I hit, of course.

Fam wouldn't allow me to lie back down to go to sleep without going to the ER 30 minutes away. TBI possibility and all. So in we went. I'm fine but had a nasty egg on my head, and likely will for a few days yet.

Despite this happenstance, still had a pretty good three or four days with beautiful fall weather.

Always gotta be something medical. lol

I've watched this video three times now, and still haven't seen the whole thing. Puts me right to sleep, even in my not so comfortable computer chair. Maybe try it if you can't get to sleep? I'll see the whole thing one of these days... :^D

Why do paywalls for websites exist?

(Example: the New York Times).

"Start paying us money or you can't view this site."

Just makes me angry.

I hate that crap too. I can understand paying for a subscription for a physical newspaper but for a website I'm not going to start paying for a subscription for every single one.

I'm just listening to the audio and it is a weird mix of relaxing and enraging in a way I rarely experience. It's almost painful, but I can also see how it could put someone to sleep.

None of the sounds really bother me, but I think a lot of it is silly. I'd like to hear her read a story in a soft voice. I seriously might pay her to do that. Have to think about it.
