I woke up today, and I'm still sitting at home and not on a beach somewhere. 😡. Wasted entire week of Spring Break sitting at home. I have all the time and money to travel and yet can't. Damn you coronavirus. I want to fly or go somewhere. Getting restless.
 
My new refrigerator got delivered yesterday. I bought it from Costco so it included delivery and hook up service. Since my wife and daughter are freadked about the virus I undid my old fridge and wheeled it out to the front porch, then had them drop off the new one on the porch and hooked it up myself. Life can be brutal sometimes.

i might not get any of the $1200 virus stimulus $.

my 2018 gross income is $100k. (im filing single, no kids.)
I havent filed my 2019 taxes yet but it's under $100k.
my 2020 income looks to be over $100k.

so if they base the stimulus $ on the lesser of the 2018 or 2020 tax returns, i'm not getting any $ because i made 6 figures.

and i think it's too late to file 2019 returns to be used as the basis of the stimulus $ since the irs is starting to send out the stimulus checks this week.

once again i get screwed out of free $ because i made too much or i dragged my feet in filing.

Between the Fed's money-printing and the government's stimulus roll-out, most of that money is going to businesses that are so poorly-run that they can't sustain a 4 week downturn in business.

What precedent does that set?

Over the last 5 years, having two young kids, my wife and I set out to have 52 weeks of expenses saved up, and we're currently at 60-ish weeks... well, now with student loan payment halts and mortgage relief, more like 65-70 weeks. And we have short term disability, general disability, life insurance. If something happens, it won't be easy, but the finances won't be an issue.

But you're telling me many of the largest companies in the world don't have a backup plan? Bull. They set themselves up EXACTLY to be where they are. Period. They should have to live with it.

Went to the store to get cleaning supplies. Mostly empty except for toilet bowl cleaners. People aren't afraid of the ass covid?

Stocker started talking to me about busting ass restocking. Reminded him that peeps are getting $1200 soon. I think he cussed me. 😀

Bet I know his family.

Yeah, S.C. is consumer friendly. Meaning that someone can steal my $ and my recourse is a judgement and credit effing. If they came to me in the 1st place, pretty sure their credit is sub 600 and they rent.

And the ignorant decry my 35%.
 
my Fico score was constant 835 this year (jan-march) but today it dropped to 830.
WTF?

why would a pandemic lower my credit score?

sure i could still get any loan i want.
it's the principle...
