Send the kid a link about i7's and radiation/cancer. Said I wouldn't tell his Ma or he'd have a LG straight talk.

The kid mentions a iphone upgrade...I math him. He did yard work all summer for $9/. That's 110 hrs of sweat.

He says, "Yeah would not be worth. I’ll take the cancer "

Good upbringing, right there.

:D

Technically the whole shed could be loaded on a trailer. I'm actually surprised this does not happen to people. It's technically not locked down. You go to cops to report it and they'll just ask if it was locked down and tell you "lock it or lose it". That's literally what they tell people.

We have friends in Alaska, ( the daughter of the people I bought the car from) who own several cargo trailer dealerships. In spite of chain link fences, security cameras, and security, they get several trailers stolen every year. The local cops will take a report over the phone, but unless someone is murdered, they won't come out and take the report in person...and they refuse to investigate or follow up on the security camera footage.

Rock auto has let me down. Well, it was 7/2018 but still. Wife lost the left tow cover on the RAV4. $7...I dicked around because I didn't want to pay $35 for the paint+clear coat. Finished it up last night and.....it doesn't fit. Double checked the order...yep, right one (after market), oos now.

So much for the year return policy. Idiot.
I feel a little better. The oem one doesn't fit either. It's going back tomorrow.

edit: SHIIIIIT...ordered the limited, not the base which is oos.

My new drive is bigger and faster than all the little drives in my old NAS. Its gonna take about 5 hours to copy all the files off that slow thing onto the big local drive.

I put my new metal Apple Card in my wallet, and it blocked the reception of my office keycard! I had to rearrange my wallet so I can get into work today.

No such thing as an American car anymore. It's all a shell game of imported parts, and some of the "imports" are more American than the American brands.
That's kinda what I thought. Also, all these "foreign" brands are made in the US a lot of the times anyway, at least partially. By buying something like a Toyota doesn't mean you're not helping here, I'd think those workers in the plants here in the US would be thankful:

My FWP is that I recently ordered some vape juice from Mount Baker Vapor cause I was getting low. One of them was Juice Cube, which I've ordered multiple times before (kinda has a fruity/sweet flavor). Well I think they done goofed and this one is menthol cause I get that menthol throat feeling after vaping it. I do not like menthol. I think I'm gonna email them and complain and hopefully get a discount on my next order.

Looking for hotels on google maps, the hotels lie and lie and lie about their rates. Tag says $74/night, reality = $127. Tag says $86/night, reality = $129. Then there is the no-cancel, non-refundable bs rates.
Tag says $89/night, reality = $599. The band we want to see would pick f'in' homecoming weekend in Berkeley.

Bought a new motorcycle. They don't sell what I wanted around here so had to buy online. When it was delivered to my house, it was very dirty. Had to wash before the first ride.

When we bought this house, it came with a grafted pear tree. (3-4 different varieties on one tree) The previous owners had it enclosed with some lightweight plastic netting to keep the deer out. Yesterday I discovered that the deer had chewed through the netting and eaten nearly all the almost ripe red anjou pears, all of another (unidentified) variety, and all the leaves they could reach. I still have 2 red pears and maybe a dozen or so bosc pears left...so I spent a couple of hours yesterday reinforcing the protective enclosure with 2x4's and left-over chicken wire. It's a temporary fix...I'll completely redo it after the season.
Maybe today I'll get back to the project I was working on before I discovered that I had been raped.

Though I intended to do my own laundry, someone did my work clothes for me without asking. I dunno... perhaps they needed more to make a full load for themselves or something. Anyway, I found them hanging up and ready to go, so I used the extra time to catch up on some other obligations before I hopped in the shower, threw on my clothes, and ran off to work.

I caught a whiff of something just as I was stepping out the door and I hoped it was something outside. It wasn't. Once my sense of smell fully returned from getting out of the shower I was gagging on the must of my own clothes in the car. Someone managed to make the whole laundry load musty AF and now I'm forced to wallow in it for the rest of the day. Shouldn't have even bothered with the shower, since I was 6 minutes late and smelled like a dog anyway.

So I guess it's official, summer is done. Frost advisory.

I'm sure we'll still get some nice days though, our September weather tends to be a bit sporadic these days.

I should probably turn off the outside hose and air it out.
