I need to drill a hole over 3 inches deep but none of my drill bits are long enough. Need to go to Home Depot and hope I can find one long enough.

Also realized that I'll need my impact for this job but I lent it to someone. Today was kind of a lazy day anyway and it's getting late, just going to try to get my ducks in a row and probably do the actual job tomorrow. But it's 3pm and all the soccer mom SUVs are going to take over the street soon so I'll have to wait before I can leave.

Needed a 7/32 bit and could not find one long enough but found a 3/16, I figure if you types that by two it's 6/32, should be close enough I guess? What I hate about imperial is it makes it very hard to measure the size of the bit. No idea how many lines that's even suppose to be. So once that ends up loose in my toolbox I'll have no idea what the size actually is. I guess I can try to engrave it or something. Wish this stuff was in mm would make it so much easier.

The water lines at my office are ancient galvanized and the water tastes like crap so I buy bottled water. The store brand was sold out so I had to but Aquafina. Really? In my 54 years, we have never lost city water during any disaster. And Florence isn't going to affect us anyway...hopefully.

More so my neighbors problem but kind of landed on me as well.

Neighbor was getting one of those swim spas delivered. One of the outriggers on the crane that was lifting it over his house sunk into the wet ground, the crane started tilting and down came the spa. As the spa was falling to the ground it glanced off his roof and it clipped the overhang on my roof. Could have been much worse but now my neighbor won't get to enjoy his spa until they can deliver a new one.

My dad just got FIOS installed by Frontier, and they're giving him 150/150 for two years for $40/mo (at which point it goes to $80). I've had them forever and am paying $75/mo for 75/75. I called and complained that I should at least get their second price and they won't budge. Dammit, I don't want to have to switch to Comcast. 😡

One of my co-workers has Comcast and Verizon in his condo complex, so every single year he switches between them just to get the best deal.

Wrote in another post how /not too bad/ my job is. Today was one of those days I question the whole direction of my life. I was in mud up to my knees, and trying to make my way around a bridge form to mark out a ton of points. I had a delightful variation of terrain ranging from the previoisly mentioned mud, to balancing on top of a 6" form, to straddling a mud pit with one foot on a form and the other planted against the shoring. I got mud in everything, and fucked up my field book. Couldn't find my ear plugs, so I had napkins stuffed in my ears. Add to that my antique gear that was being beautiful being, I was wishing I was just about anywhere else. I impressed the rod buster foreman anyway. He said he's never seen a surveyor would would have gotten in that mess. He must usually deal with smarter people than me :^S

edit:
Oh, and I was getting trolled by yellowjackets. Flying my face, landing on my stuff. Have to pay attention before I touch anything...

Bought our youngest some Yeezy's... Took so long to get them because they were back ordered they just barely fit. Maybe get a month out of them before too small.

My pinball machine was shipped out yesterday and the tracking says delivery is today, but it has been sitting at the facility since this morning. They're supposed to call the day before delivery, so it looks like the earliest I'll get it is Friday, hopefully... 🙁
