What first world problem did you have today?

I went to Whole Foods today and they did not have the Gelato I was looking for. I had to drive all the way to Harris Teeter to get it. When I got to Harris Teeter, I wanted to get an Antipasto salad from the bar and they were all out 🙁

That isnt even third world problem. Every icecream shop in Buenos Aires has over 150 flavours. All made on premise.

I had to choose between two different Kavalan Solist bottles of whisky today, I could not afford both 🙁

My browser is freezing frequently or acting sluggish. This is usually followed my a message saying the Shockwave plug-in or something has stopped working. Pissing me off... It was fine a couple weeks ago.

Been sick all week. I can't dance.

Looks like pre-ChiPs Erik Estrada. Not that I would know. :sneaky:
he died Aug 2011.

I need to go back to Wegmans to get another bottle light. It looks pretty cool, and I think my daughter would like one. OR, I could pay $5 more at Amazon, and save my time. I hate wasting gas just for one item.

My Homer Simpson look-alike neighbor fired up his commercial BBQer on wheels in the street in front of his house (side business). Its been smoking the whole block up all day and I'm sick of it. An hour or two is one thing, four or five of that is quite another.

I love BBQ but not that much, and that's a Homerish thing to do. Not good for property values when people are running businesses in the street.

If it gets bad enough then maybe you get the zoning enforcement people after him, just hope they don't like BBQ too.

Got my electric mower out today to do the yard and the power management on the damn thing doesn't spin the twin blades fast enough to get every long blade so I need to go over some spots twice. Once it kicks into high speed mode, it's fine but it needs to sense a lot of resistance to spin up.

On the plus side, I did the entire front yard almost entirely off of one charge pack before it switched to the second.

I used to have an iPod touch 5th gen with an AWESOME case. The case was an Incipio Frequency in "obsidian" black. I only buy cases made of TPU material (Incipio calls it "NGP") -- not that soft gel silicone garbage.

Incipio had 2 lines of cases made from "NGP" material. The "Incipio NGP" was as slim as possible, covering all edges and side buttons, without covering the face of the device. The Incipio Frequency was very similar, but had a patterned texture.

I've loved having Incipio NGP cases for iPhone 5c, iPad mini, iPad mini 2 (revised), and iPhone 6 Plus (still using the same one with my iPhone 6s Plus). All were black. All were slim. All offered just the right amount of protection. Most of them offered decent tactile feedback for the buttons, and all were absolutely great after I used a razor blade to cut along beside the buttons (a routine case modification for me now).

I loved having the Incipio Frequency for the 5th gen iPod touch even more than my Incipio NGP cases. The buttons had amazing tactile feedback, even with no modification. I sold both the iPod and the case to someone here on AT forums. I originally bought the case for $20 from Walmart, then returned it for a refund after getting the case for less than $14 on Amazon.

Well, I now have a 6th gen iPod touch and I'm trying to buy a case. A case for a 5th gen iPod touch should fit my 6th gen just fine. Checked Walmart, Best Buy, Target, and Office Depot. Most retailers only have bulky high-impact cases (Otterbox, Griffin Survivor, etc). The other options are terrible and RIDICULOUSLY overpriced.

So the Frequency and NGP were never updated for 6th gen iPod touch; but that's no big deal because any case for 5th gen iPod will fit (the case will have an opening for a loop strap connector the 6th gen iPod doesn't have, but I don't care). Well, the black version of the case no longer exists. There are 3 or 4 absolutely horrendous colors available, and all are overpriced. I just can't pull the trigger to buy a pink or teal case and pay $22+ for it. It seems like Incipio and retailers are erasing the fact that a black version ever existed, even though I've personally purchased it from 2 different retailers before.

Gah! It's driving me insane!

Man now this is what I call a first world problem!

I bought this stereo cupboard with glass door to modify and put my pc in.
Today i was sawing and forgot the shelf i needed to add. So i had to saw again.
So after again sawing, and vacuum cleaning and wipe cleaning the cupboard, i found out my pc did not fit when i tried to put it in. I forgot that i made some aftermarket modifications to my pc case. And it was just a few millimeters.
I had to saw another 1cm from the back cover at the back of the cupboard. And clean everything again. Grrmmbbl 😡
I should just stick to electronics.

edit,

The worst part is that i made a drawing first, but completely forgot the shelf and the aftermarket modifications.
Constant lower back pain is such a nuisance when i try to do some work in the house.

Looking into incorporating for a business but don't really feel like dealing with the annual obligations (e.g. accountant to do taxes, annual filing thing and some "shareholder meeting"). They don't sound that hard to do, but still.

I finally received a reply to an email I sent last Thursday (this is for work). Except the person seemed to completely ignore the two simple questions I asked and responded with completely unhelpful answers to older and non-existent questions. This person is hard to get in contact with because they are in meetings a lot of the time, and IM or emailing doesn't work and if it does the reply is a week or more later and most likely unhelpful.

Now I have other developers wanting to get at the source code I'm working on but I can't check it back in until I get these questions resolved. It's really fucking starting to get ridiculous. Well... not "starting" really, it started to get fucking stupid a couple weeks ago IMO.
