Damaged the stick of my Jeff Carter bobblehead while putting it next to my Albert Einstein bobblehead.

why is Conan O'Brien trying to fondle Einstein with a hockey stick?

Trying to transfer land line number to cell phone so I can in turn transfer it to the new google voice box. (can't transfer land line # to google voice directly it seems) but the process can take up to 5 business days and I need to cancel the price gouged exede voice service Wednesday to avoid the next billing cycle.

My used clothes weren't selling on Craigslist... so I decided to market them as children's clothes -- I'm a manlet. If you don't hear from me for a while, FBI probably got me.

I'll donate them if this doesn't work. Serious.

I was set on just getting a pair of 5-bladed scissors to do all my shredding, but then I found this son of a bitch:

http://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-12-Sheet-High-Security-Micro-Cut-Shredder/dp/B00D7H8XB6/

It's about $135 here but micro-cuts, pullout bin, and appears to have a somewhat reasonable continuous run-time. My current piece of shit is only rated to 2 minutes. I went through a thousand negative 2-star and under reviews, found out it probably did have a built-in overheat shutdown.
Works well. Just ran 5 bins full, continuous, to catch up on the backup. Guessing 1 bin every couple of weeks.

Made some homemade sauteed dish yesterday and put in some thin sliced cole instead of using feculents...

Now I feel like my interiors will explode any minute...

Did you just buy it last week?

Bastard... I'm about to hand shred about 1000 pages and use my crappy 2 minutes continuous shredder every half hour.

Electric burned out the onboard ethernet on the server. I got a pcie card to add, and of course Windows doesn't have the drivers for exotic hardware like a nic. Download the drivers, and try to install, but the updates are too far back, and Windows can't handle it. I'm now downloading sp2, and expect to retire waiting for Windows to install this crap :^S

edit:
aaand I downloaded the 32bit file :^S I didn't think that looked right, but thought it was just a peculiarity with the name since I didn't see any other links. TIL there's 32bit servers out there. I just know the server's gonna take a shit on me, and I'll end up here all night.

That's exactly what I'm doing over my vacation! Just bought an AT&T Go phone yesterday and dug up the minutes card today and putting in for the transfer/port hopefully tonight.

Turns out sp2 was already installed. After searching around on the non-sensical error message, I tried a driver version back, and that installed fine. Christ, Windows is a shit show.

Got my knife today, and the hilt is too small for my hand. I thought it would be closer to the one I got my daughter, which was probably a little big for her. I'll see if she wants to trade. What a crap day...

You have a daughter and a new knife.

Good day, lxs.

Awesome. How many of those 1000 pages have you run through it yet?

😀

Zero, you son of a bitch!

I spent the last 5 hours shredding stuff by hand and using my piece of shit existing shredder for 2 minutes every half hour. Got a big blister on my left hand because I kept rubbing paper against it while tearing pages. My fingers hurt.

And it turns out I didn't have a thousand pages... it was more like 2000 or 3000. I shredded about 500 and still filled a banker box to the top after giving up. Now I need a new shredder...

Other problem: I got into teachers' college. I only applied to the worst school in my "state" and everyone's backup, so it wasn't a surprise. It actually would have been nice to be rejected so I didn't "have to" spend about $35 large over the next two years...

You're welcome to come use mine. Might ease some of the remorse I'm feeling....

New year, more extra stuffs to do in order to earn the same rate of 3%-4% interest on multiple reward checking accounts and cash back/reward of miles/points credit cards.

Darn it, big banks and big credit card companies.

There's a big blister on my left hand from manually shredding paper yesterday -- thought I already popped it yesterday, woke up to a balloon on the finger. At least there's still skin attached...

Food truck that I used to love sold out. All new people. All new sandwiches whomp whomp. Had to settle for a pastrami Reuben from a truck I've never been to before.
