"Half-bath" is the industry-standard way to refer to a bathroom without a full bath and shower. You've never heard it?

Never bought a house, only shopped for condos with no half baths I saw, and the house I grew up in was built in the early 1900s...

With that definition, looks like the house I grew up in had two half baths.

Do two half-baths make one?

Do two half-baths make one?

No.

But yeah, if you have a toilet and a sink but no shower, it's a half-bath.

Waiting for one last tax document that won't be sent until late SMarch... On the other hand, what's given me the most trouble over the past 5 years has been my stock trading stuff. I was on top of it throughout last year and just finished double-checking with my bank statements now. Boo ya! No mistakes.

My company used to always wait like 1 week before deadline to send the T4, but I actually got it early this year. Going to have to put all my stuff together and drop off at my tax person. I should do that this week. Depending on how much I get back I might dump some of the money into stocks for fun. Or maybe buy a drone.... that would be fun too.

Never shopped for either myself but I hear it everywhere. It's unavoidable.

I hang with the wrong crowd then!

Fuqing Craigslist, seriously. Got a buyer for a stupid $5 item that originally cost me 10 times more. Practically giving it away, told the person I can only meet at two locations within walking distance to me. He keeps asking if I can meet further away that would require public transit. NO, I won't pay $6 to take god damn public transit for a $5 item. And he answers his email once every few days. Clearly not that interested, so I'm just going to stop answering him.

Got some new beers at Costco. One is Tripel Karmeliet. You have to pour it really carefully or it comes out with a head that has more structural integrity than most Chinese drywall. Then you have to either suck it (the head - hehehe) or wait for it go down.

Ordered pizza for the fam. 2 hrs later called them up to ask where our meal was. Apparently the driver's car broke down (that sucks) and he was in a rush and delivered it to the wrong house. Person signed the credit card slip and everything.

Who the fuck does that?

Just finished my taxes -- it's 99% done, waiting for one more slip in late March that will change my total by $10 max -- and found out I owe the Queen about a grand. But I get to collect some credits over the next year!

Sweet, I raided my RRSP (401k?) and redeposited the money back into my RRSP to reduce the tax owed -- fuqed next tax year, but good this year!

For the past two days YouTube has been shit. Bandwidth tests show my speed at 50Mbps down and 5-6 up, but I have difficulty buffering even 480 or 720p videos. Fucking YouTube.

I have had that problem too, where are you? I am in Illinois.

my problem has been with IMDB. whenever I try to go there from a google link, it times out. Every single time. I have to go to the home page and then try to do a search from there. And the last time, it sent me to the mobile web page rather than the normal one. I don't know if I'd have the same problem from another search engine. I'll have to try that out. But as far as google and imdb are concerned, you can't get there from here.

Started my desktop for the first time in awhile this morning, and my monitor didn't come on. Looks like the psu maybe burned out. I'm now using my old 20". Kind of sucks. I don't think 1920x1200 screens are easy to find anymore. The backlight seemed to be getting iffy, so I'm not sure fixing it is worth the effort.

I am having similar problem with 60 Mbps Charter Cable (WI). All kinds of streaming services are buffering terribly, sometimes even just stop in the middle, except for netflix.

I'm also having what seem to be a dns problem. Name resolving takes a very long time. I've tried several different ones (Google, open dns) and it helps little. Not sure what's going on with our Internets!

Looking into buying a new set of dumbbells and not sure if I should go neoprene or urethane covered. I like neoprene but the ones I found only go up to 15 lb.

The tortillas from Trader Joe's aren't quite big enough to fit 3 eggs on, so I had to cut it down to a 2 egg burrito instead with some egg on the side.
