I was going to order a McPizza from Dominos since I'm tired of the "artisnal" pizza joint down the block.

I go to order hot wings, and they no longer offer bleu cheese for the dip. What!? Nope, no Dominos for me 🙁

That was a blessing. I'd rather have no pizza than Dominos pizza, and I'll eat just about anything.

Last I checked, Dominos sold so-called "artisanal pizza" with the preparer's signature on the box. 😛

They fixed their pizza four or five years ago with a complete overhaul. It's not nearly the worst anymore.

OMFG, you actually took the opioid?

Seriously, a few people I knew told me they weren't going to fill their Tylenol III prescription after wisdom teeth extraction cause they were afraid of becoming addicted. Here I am kicking myself for not finishing the bottle when I took mines out.

Seriously... hope you didn't OD, that shit's strong.
Tramadol is more addictive than codeine. I was on that for a while and couldn't wean myself off it even by taking a smaller dose. Eventually had to get a script for an opiate so I could take that instead of Tramadol to get past withdrawal symptoms. Then stopped taking the opiate with no problems.

Haven't reheated up the Taco meat yet.

This reminds me: last week I heated up left over taco meat and the top of the bowl was cold so I picked it up out of the microwave. Apparently, the bottom half of the bowl as over 9000 degrees and I dropped it, shattering the bowl and spilling all my taco meat. =(

Every single time I want to go do yard work, it starts raining. Never freaking misses. 1st world problem being that I actually have a property to do yard work in to begin with. 😛

On subject of reheating stuff, I have plain fries in my fridge that are about a week old, think they're still good? They're chip stand quality fries, aka they used real potatoes. I also have month+ old pizza I need to get rid of when it's garbage day.

My "DSLR" ran out of juice in the middle of filming... Slowly waiting for it to charge. I've been thinking of getting a second battery. Guess I will now.

I'm regretting not paying an extra $2k for a camera that came with video recording capabilities... Sort of.

I'm having third world problems. Had a can of corn yesterday to eat.

This whole no protein thing is getting to me.

My limited edition Star & Stripes Thermapen from last year got a small crack near the hinge. Talked to customer support, was assured they kept replacement housings in stock (and the part with the crack was the generic white base, anyway).

Send it in and oh, no, they don't have any housings. Pick out a different color. Oh, yeah, we did just discontinue half the colors.

Got it back today (from awesome Stars & Stripes to boring red), and the serial is the same (new sticker), just a new housing on the same guts. And there are little bits of plastic film peeking out along the center gasket. Urghghgh. Yes, I'm whining about a thermometer that costs as much as feeding a 3rd world village for a year, but damn it...
