All attachments sent from our corporate emails have to be password protected. The password is sent in a subsequent email...
 
I keep a water bottle on the shelf next to my bed and it's for the purpose of having a drink at night, yet I'm too damn lazy/tired to sit up and grab the damn thing.
 
Fucked up my computer..accidentally downloaded an activation crack for Windows 7.
(Which then spewed malware all over my hard drive..)

Just now managed to get my PC back and working (as best as I can-I'm not really a PC tech.)

Oh god...that was a fucking nightmare.

How does one "accidentally" download a crack? Or was that facetiousness?

O/S related, I borked my KDE setup at work. I installed it to try out, and now when I try to login to the KDE desktop, everything freezes. I have to go to the console to logout, and pick Xfce. I suspect it was a weather widget I installed. Not a huge deal. I got to play with it a couple days, and still prefer Xfce, but it bothers me that it broke. I'll fool with it as I get the time, and see if I can get it fixed. Mostly just to do it.

Tried looking for the Paper Mario commercial they sued Nintendo over? Makes sense that they'd police YouTube for it too.

PS: Turns out that Nintendo had the proper rights to use it and the left hand simply didn't know what the right hand was doing when they tried to sue.

I have heard rumors of needles used that are too small to be felt, even been told that some of the ones that have been jammed into me in various places were that variety.


I've learned that "This won't hurt" is a damned lie coming from anyone affiliated with the medical industry.

(Of course you've also got the husky military tough guy sorts who'll still piss themselves and run away if they see a common wolf spider skittering across the floor. I may reserve that sort of thing for things like black widows or brown recluses skittering across my face.)
