When my brother, on who I am totally dependent, failed to answer his phone, I curled up in a fetal position clutching my jumper cables. She found me and took pity on me.

I tried desperately to remove the cap from her positive terminal but failed. She easily removed it, shaming me and revealing just how wimpy I am. Even then, she immediately noticed how unsure and nervous I was about what to connect first, so she rolled her eyes and looked it up on her phone while complaining that "a real man should know these things."

A+

Luddite traitor.:colbert:

Those bastards wouldn't add the flip phone to the data plan. I could have hooked it up to my laptop, and had the best of awesome battery life, and mobile data. Sprint's customer service is on par with their cell service. I've had so many issues dealing with them... All the definition of first world problems, but it pisses me off driving through town(which I hate), only to be rejected by them for non-technical reasons.

Also, my flip phone kind of sucked. What phone doesn't have a flashlight on it anymore? I'll answer that; a fuckin' Sanyo Taho. If I could have a a feature aside from making calls on a phone, it's a flashlight; even if it's just a LCD blanker. I had to take a picture of a sheet of paper, and use that as my background to get something like a flashlight :^S

Having to deal with Intel's stupid SATA port allotment.

6 SATA ports on a 2014 motherboard? Really?
(Board in question is a Gigabyte GA-Z97-UD3H.)

2 things.

1) I ran out of bread and had to wait for the loaf I got out of the freezer to thaw. I ended up eating some yogurt instead.
2) Evaded rockets from gaza. <- compete with that muwahaha.

My phone updated to KitKat and now the myCadillac app won't work.

Never had a problem with the app on KitKat. Unfortunately, my Cadillac is a manual so I don't have remote start. It's very convenient on the other car, especially when at the beach and I want it nice and cool for the drive home. Only downside is that it won't turn on the cooled seats.

I believe you're thinking of the OnStar RemoteLink app. That still works.

Got a AC installed in my apartment, but it blows upwards instead of out the side like the one the family used to have. Now I can't have the cool air blowing on me like I always enjoyed. :(

Idiot parents yelling at the umpire over balls & strikes, at the all-star game today.

Someone show me one time an umpire has ever said, "Oh, you're right, let me change my call."

My dog attacked and killed a rat this morning, I put her (pitbull) on her lead and let her out, she goes around the corner near a downspout just staring at one spot for about 20 seconds, I think nothing of it as she does this when toads, lizards, ect, are around. Then in a quick jab she grabs a medium-sized rat near the downspout and shreds it violently, the rat had time to squeal, once. My wife like to feed the birds bread chunks and I warned her that eventually squirrels, possum, vermin would come around, it's FL, critters are everywhere and abundant..

since the jumper cables merely complete a circuit, and the circuit isn't complete until ALL the jumper cables are in place, it really doesn't matter what order they go on in.

it's just... you probably don't want to hook the same side up completely without first hooking up one cord on the other side... lest you accidentally tap the 2 free ends together and short their battery.

Positive should be hooked up first. Fewer sparks.

This. And negative should always be disconnected first. Everything leads to ground, which is why the positive terminal is capped (keep it away from "everything"). This is especially true when removing a battery. Once ground no longer leads to the battery, it's safe to expose the positive terminal.

Also, direct connection is fine at the good battery but negative should go through the frame away from the bad battery due to vented hydrogen.
