For me, I got into work before everyone else today. I put the coffee maker on and then got involved in some work and waited about 20 minutes before coming back to the coffee and in that time everyone else had drunk it all and no one bothered to make more, so I had to make a second batch.

Alarm system installer comes in and wants me to finance some of his customers installs. Scoffs at my 30%+ interest rate. I ask him what his markup is and he walks out. His 1st world problem, I guess.

My daughter and my wife arguing in the kitchen next to my office over whether my daughter should have her own car.

That's pretty first-world, isn't it?

For your daughter. Simple for her though. Get a job, pay for it and the insurance. Report back her reaction, please.:p

While finishing up my business this morning on my high-end designer toilet, my fingers broke through the toilet paper.

Scratched my Nexus 4 a little bit on top that you can't see unless you hold it at an angle under moonlight.

you could always buy her a 80s economy car
With the safety records on those, he might not have a daughter for long...

You want to look for something with good crumple zones in the frame or really solid doors. I feel like most cars these days wouldn't hold up in a tbone. With people texting and breezing through red lights, it scares me the most.

Don't skimp on safety if you have a choice.

For me, my first world problem was with my car battery... I swapped my radiator hoses a few weeks back and disconnected my battery cables to better replace one of the hose clamps. I tighted the lug, but it got loose....so my car had no power until I tighted it back up with some vise grips.

Slept through the free snacks on my flight this morning.

First rental car had a problem and they had to upgrade me to another car

No starbucks on the way to the office so I'm hungry and haven't had any coffee.

Yahoo said my login cookie had expired, so I had to log in again, but could not remember my password. So I had to reset my password. :\

I had a bizarre reaction to the affordable and widely available antibiotics used to treat a minor sinus infection that could have become a life-threatening illness without access to medication, so now I have to walk around with spotchy skin for a few days. Fuck you medicine!

Shopping at a discount store ($6.99 Folgers Columbian Coffee vs $13.99 at the regular grocery store), and as always, I get two old people in front of me that still use checks, don't bother to fill out date/store/etc before being told the total, and then take five minutes to write a check.

Missed the last Boston Crème donuts at Dunkin Donuts because of those dinosaurs.

I had to walk 25ft to the end of my driveway to drop the kids off at the bus. Every day I have to do this twice! Damn school...
