Know what I'm eating? Fuckin' pretzels. I've been to the kitchen several times(cause something interesting will certainly appear one of these times :^S ), and don't see anything I want, or feel like making. Dinner tonight was a bag of vegetables, coffee, and pretzels :^(

Are you on a diet or trying to eat with "healthier" meals (as I am trying to do now)? If not, get online and order you some yummy munchies or hop on your vehicle and pick up a few good stuffs. Unless you live in BFE, there have to be a few places that open late. We have a few 24 hrs places (McD, IHOP, etc.) around here.

Kickstarter idea: fridge or kitchen cabinetry that has hidden goodie dispensers. Randomly every 5, 7, or 10th time you open it, it drops some Kit Kats or beef jerky or something on the shelf for you. Like magic. We'll call it Pavlov's Shelf.

Trying to eat out less. I was considering picking something up after work, and nothing seemed appealing. Since I already had 'not appealing' at the house, I was gonna get something there and save the money.

I'm currently on a group conf call with some guy who's in Slovakia. OMG this guy with a thick accent is "and uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh" every other sentence and has been speaking for over 5 minutes. This is worse than nails on a chalkboard. Not to mention I can't understand many of his other words either to comprehend what he's trying to say as a whole.

We're a global company and (language barrier aside) I have yet to meet someone overseas who performs at our level quite honestly. The majority are, at best, on par with our union workers in the US. Either they are lazier or have no accountability. Turnover is quite high too.

Cleaned the gutters on the house today. I need to fix my stepladder, so I leaned my extension ladder against the gutter to get on the roof. Once I was up there, I had to move the ladder to get the section under it, and in the process, I thought I disengaged the lock. After getting around the whole roof, I attempted to make my egress, and the ladder collapsed :^S

I considered a Hollywood exit, and jumping back first into a bush, but instead opted to climb down a tree. Don't need a hospital trip today. My house is only a rancher, so it wasn't a huge deal, but a PITA none the less :^/

This picture is literally me.

I eat whole plants, see sig.
Am a professor of something I love.

I have a wife and 4 kids, I love them all and LIKE them all, and have had a dozen house guests this summer; my very closest friends. Not to mention am well liked by my colleagues and well cited by my peers.

I only drink water, soda water, and unsweetened coffee and tea.
I walk 20min to work, then 20 min back.
I'm cash-flow positive and relatively unencumbered by debt.
I get to sleep by 11 and can sleep in until 10am most days.

They left out being white, young and, wealthy.
I'm 35, white, and make more than ATOT minimum wage...

Wow my life is good... Thanks for this :)

Bought some HumbleBundle games, and they had a Steam icon. I thought it was Steam optional, but it turns out it's Steam mandatory. I have to install their proprietary DRM shitware to play the games :^S

I bought a small digital scale to measure coffee for my French press at work. It go here today and it has the word "G-DEALER" in big bold letters on the front of the scale. My coworkers are probably going to think I'm a drug dealer.

I went to a farmer's market and ate so much food I got sick.

Not sick from bad food, sick from literally eating too much. I feel awful but it was soooo worth it :D I went with a bunch of friends and I think we split like 13 items total...mango-basil lemonade (with the lemons squeezed right in front of you!), pork belly sliders with pink pickled onions, duck-fat fingerling potatoes (I've had duck-fat fries before a couple times & wasn't impressed, but these were seriously next-level), s'mores bars made with homemade giant marshmallows, an actual chocolate bar on top, and a gingerbread brownie (yes, it worked), and a bunch of other insanity. I've never been to a farmer's market that was so good!

Second #fwp, I was so pre-occupied with hitting up every food truck I could find that I missed out on actually getting any farmer's market items...no tomatoes or potatoes or fruit, dangit! :(

Fell asleep early tonight. Woke up thinking I'd have to get ready for work soon; 10:30pm... I'm still up, and now I'm hungry :^(

I am trying to live healthier by cutting back soda and watching what I eat but so far, I am still a long way to go to achieve my goal (tone up and lower body fat index). A lot more fun to eat and drink what you want than vice versa.

I have a bad feeling my eye sight is degrading, despite me having Lasik a few years back. I really hope it's just my imagination though, but I'm due for an eye exam anyway since I got the card in the mail, so I called to schedule one. I hope it turns out it's only my imagination. Maybe I'm just tired. Been on day shifts which always kill me, I'm not a morning person.

I just dread the idea of needing glasses again, I was just so sick of em and all the annoyances that come with it. And the tunnel vision, it seems every year the "in style" is smaller and smaller lenses. It's actually getting kind of ridiculous.

Worse case I'd go for LASIK again, but I don't know how good it is to get that done multiple times.
It's pricy but check into permanent contact lenses, it's pretty much what they for cataracts but have been seeing people get it done insteadof of lasix
