Dropped my drill and bent the fancy Kreg drill bit for pocket screws. $18 for a replacement at normal retail price.

Amazon has 'em for $12, so I know for next time. Still feel like a bonehead though.

Royal Mail sucks. I like getting stuff from them cause the royal part makes it seem special, but holy shit are they ever slow. I guess the queen personally inspects every package before delivery.

The queen doesn't just inspect every parcel but fondles it. You have to wait for that kind of quality.

Anyway, my fwp is fiber content. How do you have a product made with whole wheat flour that doesn't have any fiber? I got some frozen soft pretzels that say right on the box "whole wheat." So even though it's basically junk food I think I'm doing good by getting this.

I get home and look at the label to see how much fiber I'm getting and it says 0grams. WTf***ingF? Whole wheat flour is the first ingredient on the list. So if they're really telling the truth about that and there are 27g of carbs in each pretzel, how can there be no, zero, nada grams of fiber? What evil sorcery is this?

They are having helicopter rides and I'm trying to get in with a friend but the weather keeps sucking and they have to ground it.

Typical Canada day. The weather always sucks. Bet they cancel the fireworks again tonight lol.

I went in a helicopter and I didn't notice that my camera was set to higher ISO than I needed because I took a picture of my cat the last time I had used my camera and did not set it back to 100 (lowest). Now all my pictures are more noisy than they needed to be as I easily could have used the lowest ISO.

Seriously though, it was freaking awesome! Never been in one before. :D

My health insurance has changed, managed by two different companies. The part that covers RX medications has never heard of me, got an email that they have to build a new system to accommodate us. :(

Thanking god that I refilled everything I could under my old plan on Friday. Worried that retail pharmacies won't recognize me either till the new system is in place. Oh and cancer tx on Friday :(

Ugh health insurance in the states sounds like such a nightmare to deal with. :( Especially when you're dealing with a serious issue like cancer, it's the last thing you want to have to worry about.

I hate when that happens. Saw a bear at camp last year and my good camera was in the car, the bear was between me and the car, so I could not easily get to the car without it going away. :(

But then it came back, and I was prepared!

Just a little guy.

Broke the 5 1/4 mm to 3.5 mm adapter on my Sennheiser HD558 headphones.

(Got clumsy and tripped over the cable, pulling it out of the adapter, which bent.FML.)

Thankfully,Sennheiser still sells the HD558 on Amazon.

(Only paid $100,compared to the newer HD579 @$140.)

My local 7-11 hid all the large slurpee cups for 7-11 Day.
I guess all the assholes in previous years kept abusing the system. Wish I had been one of those assholes.

What a day.

So many changes were going on at work yet no extra resource or pay raise, ie. do more with less. I am not just thinking about leaving but are actively looking for a new place with more money. Love the boss and most of the co-workers but enough is enough from upper management. Then the Shell gas station that GasBuddy said $1.82/gal for regular unleaded but it was $1.99/gallon. Went to another Shell station a bit further and it was $1.87/gal then the printer at the pump did not work so I had to go inside the store to get a copy from the clerk. And of course, people did not know how to drive (I did have to slam on my brake twice to avoid hitting those drivers). I am not planning to buy a new vehicle anytime soon because I do not want to get ding/sideswipe from those fools.

Oh, we do not have any 7-11 store here, only Circle K so no slurpy special. Whaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

When trying to delete notifications on my Amazon Echo Show, Alexa confirms the request by asking "Delete all notifications, right?"

I replied "Yes" several times (always getting a response "Something went wrong")...out of frustration, I replied "right" and the notifications were deleted....

I ordered a TV from Best Buy using VISA. The charge was refused overnight based on a wonky anti fraud program but I was not informed . In the am.I and BB thought there was a problem with the billing/shipping information so we redid the order and several hours later the bank refused the charge again.I called the bank but the agent could not say what tripped the program (Maybe high tech gear, maybe shipping information). I asked why I was not informed, he said the system shows the bank did send a call out but I was at the phone and there was no call.
The charge was approved.
I set my emotional timbre on high and ask to speak to whom ever was higher management. When this guy came on I went and upped my outrage to the highest possible level ( no swearing however) and now feel better. He said the notification by phone will be improved and email added. I said that I was going to Greece in the fall and asked him to write that in big red letters on my account .

If your trip is more than thirty days away, I guarantee you'll have problems with your card.
