Bought a "new" (to me) car and the clutch is slipping on downshifts a bit, now I have to pay more attention to rev matching :(

Costco won't ship a wine fridge to me cause of some bullshit CA energy thing. How am I supposed to replace my failing one? :(

Find a pretentious liberal arts college and hang around the dorms at the end of the semester. Somebody will be getting rid of one.

Sat next to an old guy on a 3 hours flight and he was coughing and sneezing like crazy. I tried my best to cover my face with my jacket. If I don't post after this for a while, ya'll know where I will be.. <crossing fingers>.

I almost didn't make it out of Wal-Mart.

Went to buy some shit food. I tripped the alarm leaving, old lady asked me back. I complied since I'm a regular, showed my receipt plus opened my bag. She "let" me go after a minute and I tripped it again on the way out -- don't think they legally could do shit, but that's for a cop/lawyer to decide.

I realized shortly after that I had some packaging in my bag from shit I bought online months ago -- just came back from Craigslisting, didn't sell it all. Got home, lo and behold, magnetic alarm sensor was on one package. Woops.

Edit: Realized just now that I bought that item with the magnetic strip at another store and not online. It tripped the alarm when I left that store, I think.

Checking out commercial leases and a lot of listings post $/sq.ft. It's apparently standard but give me a break, why make me multiply that number by the square footage hidden somewhere in the ad and then divide by 12 when you can just tell me the monthly.

Been thinking about getting a space for the past year to grow one thing and get a bunch of other things going. Looking them up again to work out a plan. Most leases in my area are insane and more than a few have been vacant for 6 months or more... There's a basement that's somewhat reasonably priced but hello, slip & fall stairs and no accessibility.

Dungeon's are just dumb... They always get found, according to movies. You may even get an escape every once in a while.

And I'm reading Australian stuff. What the hell is a CBD? Central Business District? So, downtown then?

Ordered a Christmas present for my wife from Amazon on Monday. Despite specifically selecting the PUT IT IN AN AMAZON BOX!!! option it arrived in it's original packaging ruining a couple hundred dollar gift. Thinking about returning it and getting something else to gain some amusement out of this.

^I'm going to take a leak in the ur-ine-al while I think this over...

And FML. I need to buy alkaline batteries because I'm Craigslisting a flashlight. I had some near-full Duracells but put them in the trash because I didn't want them -- wouldn't mind putting them in something I'm getting rid of.

That norwegian guy kept his family in a dungeon for decades.

But a guy just got caught a week or two ago for using a shipping container dungeon. Then there was the other one with two that escaped a few years back. This is just terrible...

Some years back we were waiting on the in-laws at their house. We were trying to figure out what to give m.i.l. for Christmas...impossible. She owned an antique store for 35 years. So my bright idea was to swipe a couple of her 100 or so Hummels and re gift them.:D Christmas morning, she gushed over them while the wife and I were rolling on the floor.

Yup. CBD = Central Business District or downtown in US.

Canberra = ACT = Australian Capital Territory or DC in US.

Tried to get a money order to pay my rent, and the US Post Office card reader is incompatible with my bank's Visa debit chip card now. Walmart was out of money orders.

I had to call my bank and up my withdraw limit, then I had to do 3 separate transactions to withdraw the money, costing me an additional $10.50, so I could pay for it in cash at the USPO.

You can buy MOs from grocery stores such as Kroger, Albertson's, etc.

We did layoffs a couple weeks ago, and lost some people, but now people think that means we're all doomed so the useful people are also quitting.
