I like the fact that this has been so contreversal. Meanwhile the Americans are dealing with two criminals as the potential next leader. lol

Though we have our set of political issues too, like the looming TPP. That is seriously going to kill this country. I hope Trump wins - as insane as he is - and that he truly does scrap it like he says. (somehow I doubt he will though, he's a billionaire, the TPP is designed for exactly people like him)

As today's first world problem for me, I ate too much today, and had to poop really badly but was not around a toilet when it hit. I also got my car fixed, and it cost me $1,600. My uncle won 1mil and gave all the nephews $1,500, so that will cover that. In a way, I'm glad he did that, that's super nice of him, on the other hand, I basically won't see it.

^You really shouldn't mention your uncle considering how few people live up there and how few lotteries in Ontario pay $1 million. Dodododododo.

It's not the "actual" lotto he won, basically he came across good money. So it would be really hard to track down with that info only. :p

Which reminds me, I wanted to buy lotto tickets and totally forgot. I tend to buy whenever I happen to be at a store and think of it though, even if it's not a big jackpot it would still be awesome money to win.

Looking at buying a USB hub again and am reminded again why I haven't... Reports of overheating on more than a few popular units and they're only bus powered. How are these things getting that hot running 900 mA?

None of them seem to have vent holes. And the LEDs, so many blue LEDs...

And why can't I "unplug" a USB through software. This is so stupid, I wouldn't need to deal with this if I could just power cycle a damn USB port through software -- audio software causing my USB sound card to lock up even after restarting and hard off/on.

I wonder if you can just make one yourself, basically a bunch of ports in parallel with a 1 amp 5v buck converter for the 5v rail. I THINK the USB protocol supports this. Would have to open up a USB hub to see how they're made.

^I ain't got the learning to do that, and I think USB hubs have controller chips -- these, apparently, are the things that tend to overheat.

This is sad. Google suggests that what I want is an ErP or EuP function (European Union thing). I am one effing revision away from having support for that function: I have revision 1.0, only revision 1.1 supports it. FFFFFFFFFFFFFFfffffff... Man, I need to upgrade, but it all still works other than this thing.

We have a frost warning. I always laugh when I see those because it's below zero for way more than half the year, but they only issue those warnings at the start of winter as some people might still have gardens going and stuff. It's been unusually warm though, like today I was in jeans and tshirt most of the day.

Really getting dark earlier now though so can tell winter is really just around the corner. Not looking forward to it being pitch black most of the day.

In summer it's easy to think of how solar would be great but I have to remember that summer is short, so it would only really produce a usable amount of power for MAYBE half the year. Would still produce in winter though, but just enough to top off batteries, would not want to run them down too much.

Just came home from a date. She wants the whole "3 dates" thing but teased me throughout the evening and initiated a mini make out session at the the end of the date. I'm so fucking hard right now I could break anything with this erection.

Holy crap... They caught the Washington mall shooter and there's a forum he allegedly posted on that other killers have allegedly posted on that I lurk on -- threads on that forum are posting alleged evidence.

Edit: And I just had 2 out of 3 Craigslist buyers flake out on me. Like what the fuck, you correspond with me for a day or two, half a dozen emails, arrange and time/date, then "oh, ya, I'm busy" and never reply back.

Enjoying the morning before the kids wake up. It is stressful because I think I am getting away with something I shouldn't be.

My PS3 is either broke, or people have been lying about how awesome it is.

Took forever to install then update a game. When I tried to run it, got ANOTHER installation notification, and it says will take approximately 1660 minutes to complete.

Two brand new iPhone 7 - 128GB models were delivered to wrong address. Had correct shipping address on box but simply delivered to wrong location. UPS trying to track down. Have two trade in phones already tied to those phones. What a freaking mess!!! Damn UPS!!!

The first world problem that keeps on giving. Delivered from Verizon to Amazon.com instead of my home? WTF UPS. Amazon won't let them touch the truck and will unload it on their schedule, not when UPS wants it done. Well done UPS...well done! :|
