Awhile ago, I managed to snag a high-end computer at an industrial auction at a very nice price.
(<$200 scored me a Corsair Carbide case, a P9X79 Pro motherboard, 16GB RAM, i7 3930K 6-core CPU, 256GB SSD, 500W modular Corsair power supply, and a few monitors. It was lumped together with two other low-end standard office-worker computers. But looking closely at the photo, I saw the Corsair logo on the front of the case, and gambled that there would be good things inside if they were willing to spent the money on a name-brand case. Hell. Yes.)
Today, I discovered that one of the hard drive trays is missing one of its four special metal nubs for holding the hard drive in place. There's always a catch.
Oh, and I found a $1.50 coupon today for something that I regularly use, but it had expired.
