The non-OEM stove element bought a year ago started dying a few weeks back -- came off its mount, wouldn't heat up at all every few days. Instead of getting a new one, it was swapped with an OEM one in the rear corner we never used. OEM coil heats up way faster, but it smells, probably because it's almost never been used and has accumulated a decade's worth of dust and grime. Oh, and we need a new 6" element at some point.

Had to spend $1100 on 2 round trip flights JFK -> SLC for a wedding at the end of July. For a few hundred bucks more the GF and I could have flown to Europe. Yet round trip from JFK to LA is ~$350? I will never understand airline flights. My buddy better not be getting divorced anytime soon or I'm asking for a refund.
