What fan should I get for Athlon XP 1700?

Hello,

I have an AMD Athlon 1700+ and I have a Volcano 6cu+ for a CPU fan. But the fan is too loud for my ears, so I'd like to get a new one. I noticed they have the Volcano 9 out now, but I was wondering what fan is best for its value. Should I stay with Volcano, or is there something better? the processor is not overclocked... Quietness is the first priority. The Volcano 6cu+ keeps the CPU around 40*C.

If you have any extra 80mm case fans that run quietly, then a Thermalright SK-7 combined with your 80mm case fan would be good + quiet and also leave you headroom for faster CPUs later.
