What exactly is this "Chuck patch"?

I know that it's something which gives more eye candy (HDR+ AA or AF). But since I'm a noob just entering the world of Oblivion and X1900XT....is this "Chuck Patch" something that goes on top of the regular ATI drivers, a complete full driver set itself, or just a patch on top of Oblivion??

It seems like the Chuck "patch" for the older Cat drivers was a driver itself, while the new Chuck patch is actually a patch. It seems much smaller for the 6.6 drivers at any rate.

I think it's called the "chuck patch" cause one of the developers for ATI by the name of Chuck released it into the wild.

Install latest Chuck patch.

Simple as that. I also recommend tweaked drivers over the orginial if your interested:

Better IQ/Perf.

Is the 6.7 Chuck out yet? I know the drivers are there but I haven't heard of a 6.7 Chuck Patch version.

I would suggest using the 6.6's for just a single X1900. (The 6.7's seem to really only help Crossfire setups and .exe file names.) That is, I know that the 6.6's are a great set of drivers for performance. I haven't heard anything in the way of performance improvement with the 6.7's from 6.6's. In fact, I think "gersson" said that his FEAR performance dropped with the new Cat 6.7's.
