I don't see why this girl couldnt do more exercise. I mean when I'm not growing any muscle I dont quit and say I plateued. I find other ways to stimulate the muscle. I think if she worked at it she could get to 200-250 lbs.

I also think the surgery is a little extreme. I cant Imagine having a 2 pound stomach. she kinda had an excuse though. but afterwards she can pick up a basketball or something.

I think you have a point.. she doesn't mention anything other than "I like to walk fast..."

you probably wouldn't want to be seen outside let alone doing exercise if you looked like that. I sure as hell know I wouldn't feel anywhere near as confident about myself if I was that overweight, but lucky for me I have never been over weight. Always medium build before my training so I really didn't find it hard with people staring and probably snickering at me because I was so overweight. Now I have a phsique that I am proud of:D

Will power is another big killer and time. When I was doing this temping job for a week I did 48hrs in one week and I didn't 'feel' like doing as much training as I normally do. I was tired and wanted to spend time with my girl, but I did manage to train still but not as much as I would normally do though.

It said 2 ounce stomach, not 2 pound :p How is she eating enough to maintain 300+ lbs with that stomach? She must have a Pepsi IV line.

Some people are a lost cause.

IIRC the operation she received is temporary. They open it back up after a while.

I've heard of Pepsi One but not Pepsi 4... where can I get it ;)

No one is a lost cause.

When I was younger I had a very fast metabolism. No matter what I ate I never seemed to gain weight. The older I got the slower my metabolism got. A few months ago I noticed that I had some "extra skin" around my midsection. Even though I have never really exercised I am determined to start and get back in shape. All it takes is will power. You have push your self to do it. Luckily the University I am transfering to next month has a gym that is open to the students. Too many people today are just to lazy to exercise. They want the killer body with out the work.

My sister had that operation. It worked for awhile but then she started putting on wieght because she ate to much and ate the wrong stuff. She's still not as obese as she was but considering all the complications she went through and the time, money and effort you'd think she'd at least exercise and watch what she ate. On top of thyat she is also a diabetic (caused by her being so obese)
