What ever happened to all those "Terror Alerts"?

What ever happenend to the crusade agaisnt using cell phones while driving and the anthrax scare?

I heard they got rid of the color system because it was confusing the hell out of some color blind moron in Washington.

Ironically that very same day, GW switched from eating Trix for breakfast, to Kix instead, go figure.

Oh, I forgot. Its not an election year.

Miss them?

We should take bets on them returning next year for the mid-term Elections.

My guess is next year will be the year the moderate/slightly conservative democrat...

...back to the days of Roosevelt and Truman.

They went away... just like you should.

You are not that powerful yet.

Terror alerts are no longer needed. They served their purpose.

To the cynical Bush hater maybe. Or it could be a number of reasons, including the fact that it was discussed that the alerts were feeble and useless along with new leadership at Homeland Security.

The bottom line is this thread is a POS whose sole purpose is to get the Libs in here to give each other handjobs. Next time he creates a topic, he could at least give something more than a tiny dumbass TWO-SENTENCE troll comment.

🙂

"Exactly right. We've never had a serious foreign terrorist attack int he United States and we never will. Clearly since no terrorists have ever done real damage to the US our anti-terror policies must be working."

I like terror alerts very much, it helps me to stay informed. When to be scared, when to feel safe, when to panic and when to have a heart attack 😀

Die in a fire. You would whine even more if they didn't use the system and were attacked. You can't have your :cookie: and eat it too. I'll give you two just so you can next time. :cookie::cookie:

you have to admit even though he's being a bit rude that he has a point. The correlation of terrorist attacks to terror alerts seems to be unrelated once the post-9/11 fear died down a bit. The fact that the terror alerts aren't getting pushed in our faces as much is a bit strange. What has changed recently to reduce the frequency in which the levels are changed or that we are reminded what the level is?

I've asked that very same question before and no one bothered to reply. I don't expect you'll get anything more than some talking point BS.
