There's one at my High School. I don't know if its modded, but it is SO FREAKING LOUD! When I'm coming home from school the guy floors it out of the intersection and blows my ear drums.

My aunt had one and one time while she was driving along she ended up putting her foot through the floor of the car because a hole had rusted through it.

Some would argue that honor went to the Vega :p

Yes, Chevrolet's first disposable car was the Vega....it preceded the Chevette by a few years. I once had a 1974 Vega hot rod with a 350 V8. It was rather quick but it seemed to leave a trail of parts wherever I drove it.

If you were good you could fit a 454 into a Vega. It didn't help with the trail of parts, but you could drop them even faster than with a 350.

As for the Chevette, they were repainted and brought back as Yugos
