What ever happen to that billion dollar pepsi give away

wasnt " win a chance, to win a chance to win a billion dollars"?

Yea, win a chance to go on a gameshow type thing, where you could possibly win the billion. Most anyone got was a million. Someone posted the link already.

Yeah it was some gameshow where you had a chance to win a billion, but the odds were nuts... something like 1/10000 of winning it really. I hear that Warren Buffet insured the game for $10 million or something.

Very interseting

These are the contests where Pepsi has insurance that if some one does win, they won't be paying it. They make the chances so impossibly small, that people will insure that no one will win. It's the same way with some golf outtings... it'll say get a hole in one and win one million dollars, well some places will allow you to take insurance out that will pay if some one does in fact get that hole in one, But the chances are slim to none.

Am I dreaming or does anyone else remember the one where they were going to give away a fighter jet? Been several years ago I think...

I think it was a Harrier. Didn't you have to save up a bunch of bottle caps to get it?
