I'd rather not use an address that contains my full name, as I won't necessarily encrypt/sign email to recipients who know my full name. Any best practices to follow?
Note that I'm using an email service that supports aliases (fastmail.fm), but I'd like to know if there are any reasons to use a specific type of alias when creating the PGP key. In other words, are there any reasons to use an alias that contains only my first name? full name? something more generic (e.g. pgp@someusername.domain)? Should I use an address that I actually monitor, or one that automatically redirects all incoming email (with this address) to the trash?
